One of the primary reasons to enroll my son was to instill some discipline and respect. My son has been at UMAC for three months now and I see a whole lot of difference in behavior. He looks up to his young instructors and wants to do his best! He had his first belt graduation and was so proud of his first achievement.

Meeting with success installs confidence and better self-esteem which in turn helps with his overall behavior.

My daughter has been part of the UMAC Briarcliff family since participating in an after school program offered at her elementary school. That experience was a pivotal point in her life that led to an opportunity to become a full time student. What is profound is the effect Master Berlow and Master Ballentoni have had on our entire family. Through kickboxing and Tae Kwon Do, we have been taught individual growth from within. There is a personal care and attention given to the students and families here that is a standard, UMAC Briarcliff is no gimmick. It has improved our lives simply through living the mission and teaching us that the future is brighter than the present and is always encouraging personal and spiritual growth. As an alpha female, I have never been afraid to be physical or aggressive, but I am learning that there is strength in being humble and even respectfully answering, "yes sir!" inadvertently encourages the students(children and adults)to take their respect into their homes and community. It is easy to hurt, grapple, strike, and attack people, but through training, build the confidence and sense of responsibility from within and the physical abilities will follow-with purpose. UMAC has helped my daughter gain confidence, face bullies, and supports her dedication to learning Tae Kwon Do indefinitely. This is the place to focus, set a goal and achieve it, learn respect and dedication.We are grateful for the generosity and great chi!

This is a GO TO PLACE - the staff, owners are incredibly involved and dedicated professionals who make it fun for the children (as well as the adults). The after achool program is tops and I wouldn't know what to do without them. My daughter loves it and so do I. An additional benefit is that the parents of the children who attend the classes are a really fun, bright and active group.

Energy is amazing here...letting you feel like anyone can grow into being a Black Belt..Awesome for the self esteem of anyone...incredibly dedicated staff and master instructor..My daughters love it here..

UMAC Briarcliff is by far the most exciting Dojo in Westchester County. Seasoned Master instructors who love their jobs, and spend one on one time with each and every student. After school program is the best thing for me because they pick the students up right from the local school, so I don;t have to worry about rushing around with my busy work schedule. Great price and value for all students from 5 year old kids to 65+ year old adults.

I've been training at UMAC Briarcliff for almost my entire life, and loved every minute. There's a great positive atmosphere, and training is both fun and intense. Not only has my training here kept me in physical shape and taught me self defense, it instilled important values about respect, integrity, and spirit which will stay with my whole life. I recommend this dojang to anyone.
