One of my students told me to look on your site regarding a so called review on your site. I read the very short comment from a so called Blackwater, who says that they came to my studio in March 31 2017 and that they did not learn anything and then tried to rob a store with a gun. They gave us poor Reviews?
FIRST LET ME SAY the whole month of March we did not except any new students, we were preparing for an upcoming international tournament, so this person could have never entered or joined my studio. Second of all I work very close with the LB police depth. As I am also a licensed body guard. So I would have been notified if any one of my students got into any trouble. 3rd we teach discipline in my studio and any one with this person's mentality would have been dropped from my studio. And finally we take pride in the way that we train our students. We have received a personal letter from former president Obama and CA. State senator Anthony Connelly on how well we train our students and the work that we do with them.
On behalf of the Twin Tigers Kung Fu studio I would greatly appreciate your cooperation in removing this post since it is a non truthful and slanderous statement from someone who has never been apart of our studio.
Thank you and God Bless.

I have to say, when I talked with head instructor, SiJo Gardere i was very impressed with what he had to say. He said all of the right things that a parent or student would want to hear, so we made an appointment to meet with him and see all of his awards and ask any final questions. When we arrived at the address i was at first a little confused because it was a home, but i gave it the benefit of the doubt and we stopped to meet with SiJo. Once inside he explained that he was temporarily teaching out of his home while they were looking for a new building. I was a little concerned at first but he took us on a tour of not one, but 2 traing area's in his home. Upstairs he had a fully equipped gum with excercise machines through out as well as trophies everywhere you look, we then proceeded down stairs where he showed us the training facility in a 3 car garage with padded flooring and more equipment. I must say I was impressed at how well equipped his studio was. I stayed for his class that day to see how it was ran, and I had never seen anyone put so much compassion in how they teach. SiJo was one of the most knowledgeable instructors that I have ever met. The parents were very in tuned with what was saying and the students were so disciplined. Right then and there I knew that this was where I wanted my child to be. That was almost a year ago and I can not tell you the change it has made on my daughter. She is more outgoing, confident and even more respectful then ever. All I can say is don't judge a book by its cover. If you want your child to learn from one of the best, then take them to twin tigers kung fu.

I have been training in MMA for 2 years, I was always pretty good with my ground fighting because I use to wrestle in high school, but my stand up game wasn't so good. So I set out to find a Karate school here in Los Banos that would be able to help me develops my stand up fighting. Unfortunately I was not able to find one. Then my wife found Twin Tigers Kung Fu on the face book, she said that I should give them a call. Now I knew nothing about Kung Fu so I was a little scepticle, but I called. I set an appointment and went in to talk to the owner, Dr. Gardere. I get there and I meet with this 61 year old man who looked like he was only in his 40's and who looked in better shape then me. He tells me about himself, ask me to show him a few things ( like how I stand when fighting, kicks, and how I punch). This guy out punched me speed wise and his son kicked the crap out of me. I was so impressed with the things he talked about, with what he showed me and what he said he could do for me, that I signed up immediately. I have been training at Twin Tigers Kung Fu for 6 months now and my stand up game is now off the hook. I would recommend this studio to and kind of martial artist, MMA fighter, karate person, any one who wants to learn how to improve themselves. I thank my wife every day for finding Twin Tigers Kung Fu.

I have to be honest when I first drove up to the address that was given to me to meet SiJo Gardere, i almost just kept on driving, but something told me to stop and at least hear what he had to say. I could tell right off the bad that this man was a person who had a deep passion for the martial arts and for what he was doing. He showed me videos of some of his students in action, I did a walk through of his training room, his exercise room and his trophy room. I saw his World Championship Belts hanging up (all 19 of them). And as I listened to him I became more and more excited to have the privilege to be able to train under this person so after my free one week training with him I signed up. I really did not need the free week because i was already sold, but he insisted so that I could see just how hard they train. I respected that from him. I have now been training under SiJo Gardere for 7 months now and I did my first tournament this past week end, I took first place, Yahoo. I could have never done it with out SiJo. He stood by me, coached me and prepared me in such a short period of time to be ready for my first competition. I am proud to be a student of such a great teacher. I would recommend Twin Tigers to anyone, you cant get any better then this.

Twin Tigers Kung Fu is one of the best martial art schools I have run across in a long time. There knowledge of the martial arts is unbelievable, as well as their instructions. The one thing that I find sad is peoples lack of knowledge of the arts. For some crazy reason people seem to think that a building trains the students and not the instructor. I know you might be questioning what I just said, but its true. I have worked the phones for Twin Tigers and I have had people call and schedule an appointment to come in and meet SiJo Gardere and talk with him to get answers to any questions they may have and in some cases they never even keep their appointment ( which is a waste of SiJo's time) and in other cases they drive by the school and see that we are not in some fancy building and they keep on driving by. These people have no clue as to what they are passing up. They would rather take their kids to a studio that is all fancy, but the instructor has no clue as of what real martial arts are about let Alone teach it. So again I tell you its not the building that teaches you or your child, its the instructor, and SiJo Gardere is one of the best. If people out there would actually take out the time to meet with him they would be more then impressed. If you would actually stop and watch a class you would see that Twin Tigers kung Fu teaches far beyond any school here in Los Banos. I know, I have been with them for 4 years and I am one of the World champions to have come out of their school. So if you want the best for you or your child, then stop in, don't just drive by. Keep your appointment, don't waste SiJo's time. This why TTKF stands by its slogan.
You've tried the rest.
Now train with the best.

Twin tigers kung Fu has completely changed my child. In just the few months that she has been there she has gone from a spoiled, disrespectful little girl to one that all I have to do is tell her once to do something and she does it. SiFu Tina has worked a miracle with my daughter. Thank you SiFu Tina and Twin Tigers Kung Fu

When I first called Twin Tigers I thought that I would get the regular old sales pitch I got from every other martial arts school in Los Banos, but when I talked with Mr. Gardere (otherwise known as SiJo) I was very impressed with what he had to say. He was honest and straight forward. He even went as far as to tell me that once I came in to talk with him and look at his credentials, that if I was not satisfied with what I saw that I could look up another studio. I went in and oh my God the place was like a martial arts museum. There were world championship belts everywhere, certificates, trophies galore, plaques of inductions into martial art halls of fame. The place was incredible. I asked when do I start and how much do I pay. He then told me that the first step was to come in and train with them for one week for free to see if it was something that I really wanted to do. He explained that they train hard and that their system was not for everyone, and again if I did not like it after the one week that I could leave, no hard feelings. That was 3 months ago. I am still training at Twin Tigers and enjoying every minute of it. I am looking forward to my first tournament in June. Thank you SiJo for excepting me as your student.

I moved to Los Banos 4 weeks ago and decided that i would put my 8 years old son in a martial art studio. I personally trained at one time for 2 years so i thought it would be good for him. I took him to a Kenpo Karate school on Pacheco Blvd. where the instructor claimed to be a world champion. He told me how great his school was and how my son would be trained by one of the best instructors. I took a chance because of what he said and because he had a nice looking school. The first day of class i was kind of shocked but figured it was because it was his first day. On the second day i could not believe what was going on. I asked one of the parents there how long their child had been going there and they said 6 months. I could not understand this, her son was going there for 6 months and all he was doing was playing games? I got up and grabbed my son and began to walk out when the instructor, who was a very young girl who knew nothing, came running over to me and said " your son have earned his white belt"? what the hell. I thought to myself I am not stupid i know when you buy a karate uniform, it comes with a white belt. Heck your white belt just by walking threw the door. I told her to keep her white belt and left. I was so disappointed because all this was is a daycare center, not a Karate school. I was reffered to Twin Tigers Kung Fu where my son now attends. It is great. I could not be happier.

I have only moved to the area 7 months ago found a few school to take my son. I checked out a school that the few times my child was there it was dodge ball, hop scotch and how to stand on 1 foot
I was disappointed. My husband from out of state he took martial arts and I had him to go watch a class he yanked my child out due to he told them I'm bringing my child to learn martial arts I'm not looking for a day care.
They presented my child with a bell and said you just earned your first belt.
Now I am not an expert in the arts but aren't you a automatic white belt when you walk through any dojo door. So yes in 4 days my child earns a white belt for playing.
I went to twin tigers kung fun and my child loves it .
My child is learning so much in 1 month I'm so amazed . I love the school I love the teachers and I love that my child loves it
Thank you Dr Gardere

My son has been training with Sifu Eric for about a year now. He was at another school but he wasn't learning anything so i brought him to twin tigers kung fu. He has learned so much in the time that he has been there including his attitude adnustment and his grades improving. I was so happy with what Sifu Eric has been doing with my son that i had talked to him about the weight gain problem that i was having. I tried everything including the local gym but nothing worked. Sifu Eric told me that he could help me but i had to give him 100. Percent and i could not quit on him. I gave him my word and he put me on a work out program 4 days a week for one hr. Each day. This is 2 hours less then i was spending at the gym. After just one month i have already seen results. I tried on a pair of pants that i have not been able to fit into in over 8 months and they fit. Now Sifu" work out is hard but it is worth it. So ladies, if you are a single mom like me and you want a great place to bring your kids to learn martial arts and gear fit for yourself then this is where you want to come. Two thumbs up to Sifu Eric and twin tigers kung fu.

I have 3 children i took them to a karate school over off of Pacheco blvd. And center rd. I was told a whole lot of BS from the instructor about who he was and what he has done. He told me that he had top instructors and that my kids would get the best training possible. Then he charged me a grip to sign my kids up, i thought that everything that he told me sounded great. It wasnt. His top instructors were his two very young daughters who really did not know anything. His top notch instructions turned out to be my kids playing dodge ball everyday and hopping on one leg and then the other. This went on for a little over six months, my kids were not learning a thing. It was more like i was paying for a day care so i pulled them out. I began to look for a new studio and someone told me about Twin Tigers Kung Fu. I called them up and right off the bat liked what they had to say. I set an appointment to meet with the owner Dr. Gardere, he told me about the studio and how they trained, he told me about himself and his instructor, sounded like the other instructor but the difference was that Dr. Gardere had the belts, certificates, awards, letters you name it he had them. I was so impressed and honored in just meeting him. He said that my kids could train for free for one week to see if they would like the class because he did not want anyone in his studio that did not want to be there. As he put it he was not a babysitter. This made me even feel more at ease because he was being honest. My kids trained for the next week and they loved it. They learned more in one month then they did in the six months at the Karate studio. Best decision i ever made.

My son is autistic. She did wonders with him and brought him out of his shell. Pays so much more attention and makes it fun for him and the others. The kids respond to her. His progress improved in school.
Thank you Sifu Tina.

I took my daughter to every school in Los Banos but no one wanted to work with her because she was deaf. They felt that she would be to hard to work with. I finally took her to Twin Tigers Kung Fu, I explained to Dr. Gardere my situation with my daughter and how she wanted to learn but no one would teach her he right away said that he would be more then happy to work with her. She started her classes two days later. Dr. Gardere took his time with her and she was learning at a very fast rate because of his patience. After two months of training she wanted to enter into a tournament competing in the forms division, but Dr. Gardere had explained that in some occasions forms are judged two ways by choreography (how well the form is choreographed to the music ) and the performance itself. Well this sadden my daughter because of her disability she felt that she had no chance, she was ready to give up, until Dr. Gardere came in to the studio with a strobe light, he told my daughter that he was going to set the strobe light to the beat of the music and all she had to do was to do her form to the flashing of the light. She practiced this for two weeks, entered the tournament and took first place. I was so proud of her, but even more I was so thankful that I brought her to Dr. Gardere and Twin Tigers kung fu. This is like no place that I have ever even heard of. No one would have ever taken the time out to work with my daughter the way that he did, or to come up with the idea of the strobe light. Dr. Gardere. Worked a miracle in my daughters life. Thank you so much.

Straight and to the point, this is one of the best martial art schools that I have ever been to. I use to train in Thai Kwon Do in San Jose California before moving here to Los Banos 8 months ago. I went all the way to my purple belt, I thought that the school that I came from was one of the best around but I could not travel back and forth just to train, so I began to look for a good school here in Los Banos, not for me but for my 3 children. I went to 3 different schools and did not like what I saw or heard from the instructors. Then one day as I was passing down I street I happened to see a large yin yang sign in the window with the most impressive display of trophies. I stopped in to see what they offered. From the moment I walked in I felt completely at ease with the environment, right away I had one of the instructors come over to me and ask if I needed help, They escorted me to the office where the head Instructor was just finishing up with another parent. I sat down and he began to tell me about the school, then he showed me some impressive videos of his students and their training. Once we finished watching the videos, he told me that my kids could come in and train for one week for free to see if they even liked being in the martial arts. This made me even more comfortable with this school. My kids did the one week free and have been in it now for the past 2 months. I am so glad that I just happened to drive down that street at that time. If any one wants to have their kids train in a safe, educational, martial arts school, Twin Tigers Kung Fu is where they need to be.

I just moved to Los Banos from Brentwood Calif., my son had been taking Kenpo Karate there for two and a half years. When we moved here I wanted to put him back into the martial arts but could not find a place where i felt comfortable with. I just happened to drive by the twin tigers kung fu studio when i saw all of these trophies in the window, i thought i would take a chance and stop in to see what they offered. The moment i walked into the place i felt a sense of professionalism. Just the way that it was set up, and all of the certificates, and awards that are right out in the open for you to see. . Then i was approached by one of the instructors who led me to the office to talk to the owner, he made me feel right at home. my son joined in the class the next day and he loves it. I sit in on his classes and i could not be any happier as to the decision that i made to come here. We plan on being here at twin tigers for a long time.

I came to Twin Tigers Kung Fu because of my children. I wanted to get them into an activity after the football season was over. My son played for the tigers and my daughter was a cheerleader. When I first came there I figured that it would just be a off season activity for them but what I found was something completely different than what I had expected. For one I felt that my children would be safe there. This was very important to me. I sat back and watched how the instructor (Dr. Gardere) worked with his students. I saw compassion, caring, patience and discipline. I was very impressed, But what impressed me the most was the fact that there was a young girl there that was completely deft, Dr. Gardere took his time on working with her by showing her step by step on how to do what he was teaching. When it came time to work with her on what he called her form, she could not hear the music to stay on beat with, so he pulled out a strobe light and timed it to the beat of the music so that she could practice on her form. I don't think that any one else would have thought of doing this for that young girl. I would recommend this school to anyone. My two kids don't even want to go back to football, they want to stay in Twin Tigers all year round. I am so glad that I came here.

I came to twin tigers not expecting very much because of past experiences with a few other martial art studios here in Los Banos. I tried everything from the so called kick boxing class (that was a bust) to the Kenpo Karate studio (what a joke, I even tried a class that advertised Jiujitsu???? the instructor knew nothing about it. So when i came to twin tigers i was already setting myself up for a let down. However to my surprise it turned out to be more then i expected. Sifu is a very humble and intelligent person. For being the age that he is he is extremely fast in fighting and is very graceful with his forms. I have learned more from him then i have learned from all of the other so called martial art studios combined. I would recommend this studio to anyone.

I found Twin Tigers Kung Fu on the internet by accident and did not really even consider it as a possibility of training there because of it being located back in California. However, my family and I had left Washington to compete in an NBL international tournament in the San Francisco bay area. Once there I noticed a few people running around with the twin tigers logo on the back and I thought how ironic, I had just read about them on line a few days ago. I had stopped one of them and asked them if they could show me where their instructor was and that is when I first met Dr. Gardere. I was so excited to meet this person that I had read so much about. We talked for a while and he told me all about his studio and his system of twin tigers kung fu, then he told me about a program that he has where martial artist come from all around the world and stay at his home for one month to train and learn some of the twin tigers system. I had asked him what I would need to do to get on this program and he told me that all I had to do was to be hungry enough to learn. I told him that I would be getting in touch with him once I raised the money to come back down. For 3 months I worked my butt of to get that money and finally I had enough. I contacted Dr. Gardere and made arrangements to come down and train with him. I have to tell you it was the most educational and enlightening experience that I had ever had. Not only did the Gardere's open up their home to me but they treated me as if I were part of their family. For one month I trained every day at their studio and afterwards I was able to come home and train at the house. Dr. Gardere was always willing to show me more things and to sit and talk to me about the martial arts. I was able to work with his two sons that became my brothers, Timothy and Sejen. These were two incredible martial artist, Sejen was an exceptionally good fighter and Timothy was incredible with his weapons and forms ability. After the month was over I really hated to have to go back home, I wanted to learn so much more from Dr. Gardere. This experience has made me a much better martial artist and all around person. I thank you sir and I look forward to coming back down and training with you again soon. I have never met an instructor who loves the martial arts more than you.

I was asked by sifu to write my story on here so that it might inspire others.I use to be involved with the whole gang scene until i met sifu. I always thought that I was so cool, i acted like i was the king of the world until i found out that there was much more to my life then where i was and where i was headed. I ran into sifu at a store one day and for some reason he came up to me and started to tell me about his school, he said that God had lead him to me. At first i thought that he was a little crazy, but then i started to listen to what he had to say. I figured what the heck it couldn't hurt. after he left it actually took me about two weeks before i took him up on his offer about coming to work out at his studio for two weeks for free, but i finally went. At first i did not like it because i was not use to having someone tell me what to do and having to follow so many rules, i thought that these people who were in here were just a bunch of nerds with nothing better to do. I learned real quick that some of these so called nerds could do things that I couldn't and it looked pretty cool. after doing my two weeks for free i wanted to do more but i or my mom could't afford the classes. I went to sifu and talked to him and told him that i wanted to stay in the class but could not afford it and he helped me to get a job. I had never had any one try to help me before. I have now been with sifu for 8 months and i am doing well. I am no longer hanging around with gang members and my grades in school have improved a lot. I will be graduating at the end of the year all thanks to sifu. Twin tigers kung fu has not only helped me to find myself but it has given me a purpose in life that i did not see before. Thank you sifu.

You know its funny, I received a flyer on my car that said come train with us, we are the Best Of The Best. I thought cool i will go and check them out. I get there and some bald headed Hispanic guy comes over to me and starts to tell me all of the BS that I kind of new sounded off, but decided to try him out. Big mistake, this guy was a joke. He could not even show me how to throw a proper kick, i really do not know that much about the martial arts but when it came to doing what they call two step sparring, i was beating him. Needless to say i left in a very short time, they were hardly the Best Of The Best. Then I got a card from this kid who was passing them out and on this card it said You've Tried The Rest, Now Train With The Best". I thought OK here we go again. But I figured I would check it out anyway. Man from the time i walked into the place i could tell that this was entirely a different atmosphere. The instructor here did not full around, I noticed that the students here were much, much more disciplined then the other school. Then i saw the kid that handed me the card, this kid was tremendous and very skilled in what he was doing. After talking with the instructor, i decided to join the school for the two week free trial. That was 6 months ago and I am still here. I am so impressed with not only my sifu but i am looking forward to my first tournament in April. My instructor is not only a man of wisdom, but he is also a tremendous fighter. I know because he has knocked me around during our sparring class. I am so glad that i got that card. Twin Tigers Kung Fu stands up to their motto. They Are The Best, and they are the real deal.

I have been training with Sifu Eric for 16 yrs off and on around my schedule. The person who wrote the bad reviews was a student who missed a lot of class could not remember her stuff and the reason she worked with Sifu son was for the fact he and her was testing for Sam he's wright has no barring on him wright and size don't matter. This boy was not your petite as she was but is a 4 time world champion. He does ariels he gets high off the ground like know one can believe. I won't say the student name but. She is petty Sifu gave her free classes gave her uniforms at one point she had no food so he helped her picked her up for classes video tape stuff so she can practice at home. And but she turned her back on studio for personal gain was using video to teach out side studio was taking classes from a nother instructor so we she came to class y she didn't know was she was gettingttheir style and our mixed up if you believe her review. We'll hope you find a good place to go.

I am so angry, I just read what Cheryl R. wrote about sifu and it makes me angry. Sifu was the only person that stood up for you Cheryl when every one else wanted to kick you out of the studio long before you did. He always made excuses for you because he knew that you were having problems at home and all he wanted to do was to give you an outlet. Sifu Tiffany always asked why you always blamed sifu when it came to teaching things the wrong way. You would always say "what did he change it and didn't tell me" no he never changed things, you just could never get them right because you were hardly ever there. I want every one who reads this to know that Instructor Gardere (SiFu) is the type of person that would give you the shirt off of his back to help you. He is the most talented martial artist that i have ever met. I would not be as strong mentally, physically or spiritually as i am now if it were not for him. If you want a good instructor then Sifu is the person that you want training you. He does not just give you a sales pitch, any one that knows him, knows what kind of person he is and knows what kind of instructor he is.

Twin Tigers Kung Fu is one of the best places to come to. I love it. My children have been here for 5 months and they are not only doing well in school but have more confidence in themselves then they ever have. They have come out of their shells and have made new friends at school. I am very grateful for what twin tigers has done for my children and i would recommend them to anyone.

I am a martial artist, I have trained in Kenpo Karate for over 25 years. I know Mr. Gardere and I remember watching him fight when I was younger, he was no one to full around with. He was one of the fastest fighters i had ever seen. He moved like lighting. I remember that i was so impressed at that time with how he fought that i wanted to learn the martial arts. Now i have to be honest, my initial reason for wanting to learn was not just because he was so fast but also because he had just beaten my father whom i thought was the best at that time. You know how it is, every boy looks up to his father and thinks that he is the greatest. Well i was no different. When Mr. Gardere beat my father i wanted to regain my fathers honor by beating the man that beat my father. I was 14 at the time, i had some back ground with the martial arts but never really stuck with it until that happened. My dad trained me hard, and i wanted him to. He never knew why i was training so hard because i wanted to surprise him when the time came. I had attended tournaments in the following years both competing and also watching Mr. Gardere. I could not wait until i was ready to go up against him. As time went on i would talk to Mr. Gardere, I got to know him, and know about him. I had been trained to fight by my dad, but talking to Mr. Gardere i learned that there was more to the martial arts then just fighting. Sure he was a great fighter, but he was more then just that. He taught me things about the martial arts and life that i never thought of. He taught me that a martial artist is more then a fighter, but a learner, a teacher, a humanitarian and much, much more. So what turned out to be a thing of revenge turned out to be a turning point in my life and in return i had gained a true friend. I have great respect for Mr. Gardere and for what he represents as a martial artist. I say to anyone who reads this. "look past the part of just fighting, seek as much knowledge from this man as possible, train hard, listen to what he has to say, because he speaks great wisdom about life and the martial arts which if you truly listen, you will find go hand in hand. Thank you sir for making me a martial artist and not just a fighter. I look forward to always seeing you at the tournaments.

My name is David, I had talked with Master, for over a month before asking if I could come to California to train with him. He agreed and took me on as a student. I trained with him for almost two months. It was a lot different then what I had learned in the past. I actually had trained for two and a half years in another style before coming to Master's studio. They train much harder then I had ever expected and they changed my whole train of thought when it comes to being prepared for something to happen. I was taught by Master that you never wait for something to happen, you just stay ready for when it does. This means that you are always relaxed, never trying to anticipate anything. But when something happens you react at that time. With no thought, no fear, no hesitation. Master was one of the greatest teachers that I have ever had and i hope that I can get the chance to train with him again someday. I learned more in those two months then I ever did in the other school that I was in for two years. They live up to their motto of you've tried the rest, now train with the best. I had my reservations about this at first, but was convinced shortly after being there.

What do you say about a person that gives his all? I know Master Gardere. I have known him for most of his life.I have watched him come up from a little scrawny kid to a great martial artist. You know people are so narrow minded when it comes to martial arts, they seem to think that just because a person has 20 studios that they are great teachers. I have seen some of the students that come from these big chain martial art studios and they are horrible. Some people look for a studio that is big, looks all fancy inside and they join that studio because of the looks on the outside and the equipment inside, but the building, nor the equipment teach the class. Most great martial art instructors are the ones that you don't know about and that don't have a big fancy studio. Why, because these instructors only care about teaching. This is how Master Gardere has always been. Even when he was little he would say that when he got older he was going to teach what he learned not what he was taught. Now to most people this may not make sense, but I always told him to do what he learned from me, not what i taught him. You see i can teach anyone to mimic me, copy me, but that is not what i want. I want one to take what i have shown them and take it further from what they learned from me. Eric has always done that. He not only learned from me but he would always try to improve what i taught him. He was never satisfied with knowing how to get out of a hold or how to defend and attack with a combination, he wanted more then just one way to get out of a situation so he was always creating, thinking, experimenting. This is what i meant when i told him to do as he learned and not as he was taught. Eric is a student that any instructor would be proud of. He is a rare breed with the talent to have been as popular as any great martial art film star, but instead he chose to work on himself, continuously trying to improve on himself. I have watched and followed his career as a fighter, instructor and most of all a martial artist. I am very proud of what and who he has become. Peace, Honor, & Respect to you Eric, continue to do what you are doing.

My name is Kenneth, I was one of the exchange students that Master Gardere and his family opened up their home to. Twin Tigers Kung Fu has an exchange program that extends across the ocean. I came from Ohio. I contacted Master Gardere about coming to his studio and training for the one month exchange program. I was excepted. Master Gardere and his family picked me up at S.F airport and brought me to their home. I rested the first day and began my training the next day bright and early. I must say that the training at Twin Tigers under master Gardere was like none that I had ever experienced in the past. I had trained in Kenpo Karate for 5 years and honestly it was nothing even close to what I was taught there at twin tigers. Master Gardere was the most inspirational person that I had ever met. He encouraged me every day, pushed me to a level that I had never in my life expected to reach. When I left there and my month was up i did not want to leave. I plan on going back to twin tigers when ever my finances will allow me to. I still to this day practice the methods that i learned at twin tigers and i look forward to returning to learn from the greatest master. If any one reads this out side of Cali. and you want an experience of a lifetime in the martial arts, then i encourage you to contact master Gardere and see if you can be one of the lucky ones to be excepted as part of his exchange program. You wont regret it.

I have been attending Twin Tigers Kung Fu now for 6 months. I have found it to be a great place not only for myself but also for kids. The instructors there are great with working with the kids and with the adults. I especially like the way that they separate the class and how a different instructor takes a different rank level to teach. I love the program that they have set up for the week. Wednesday, sparring, Thursday two whole hours of body conditioning, Friday we practice on what we need to know for belt testing and Saturdays are for anyone who wants to come for extra classes and what is great about it is that they do not charge extra for the Saturday class like most schools do. Twin Tigers Kung Fu goes way above and beyond to make sure that their students get the best training. They are not kidding when they say you've tried the rest now train with the best. I have found the best. Thank you SiFu

Here it is plain and simple. If you really want to learn martial arts, and if you really want to train under a great instructor then twin tigers is the place you want to be.Great family environment, great instructors, no drama and no child's play. I walked into one studio here in LB and it was like walking into a pre school. The kids were running around like a bunch of crazy kids, the instructor who was some wild looking lady wearing a blue karate uniform all faded was so busy talking on her cell phone that she was not paying any attention to what was going on in her studio. After she finally got off of her phone and noticed i was there she tries to convince me that they were professional and that they teach the best classes? really, I stayed and watched how she ran her class, it was a joke. I left after 15 minutes. I went to 3 schools before finding twin tigers. From the moment i walked in i could tell that this was not a place to fool around in. The instructor was on his students even before class about stretching out, he tolerated no horse play and when the class began i was totally impressed. There was even a student that came in late and right away he was made to do 50 push ups, this was a 10 year old. It may sound harsh, but i tell you i noticed that every one of the students in that school had respect for their teacher. I stayed after the class and talked with the instructor and he told me all about the school. I could not wait to begin classes. That was over a year and a half ago and i am still here and i plan on being here for a long time. Sifu Gardere is so impressive to watch. he is extremely fast and powerful. My only regret is that i did not find this school 5 years ago. So again i say, if you want to really learn martial arts then this is the place to be.

I have been training with Sifu off and on ever since he first opened up here in L.B 17 years ago. I at times have had to stop because of finances or because of my job schedule, but I have always come back here. Twin tigers is my home. Sifu is the person that trained me in the martial arts and how to be a martial artist. He is a great teacher and a great person. He has excepted not only me but his students into his home and had us over for different things such as BBQ's, birthday's Christmas dinners and so on. I will always consider sifu my teacher and I would tell any one that this is the best martial art studio around. go by and visit him, watch the class see for your self. Keep up the great work sifu.

I just enrolled my 2 sons and my daughter into twin tigers kung fu, and i could not be more happier. We had been looking for a place to take our kids to but did not feel comfortable at any of the schools that we went to. We heard about twin tigers and decided to give them a call to see what they were about. We were invited down to see the school and watch a class, we were very impressed on how well the class was ran. When we went to two of the other schools the class was very disorganized, kids were running around like it was a pre school instead of a karate school, but twin tigers was so different. My children have only been in the school for two weeks now, but they love it and they are actually learning things that they never thought that they could do. I would refer this school to any one. Great job twin tigers.

I have been promoting tournaments for the past 15 years, I have been in the martial arts for 30 years and I have known master Gardere for almost the whole 30 years. We have shared thoughts, we have trained together as brothers and we have competed against each other when we were younger. Master Gardere in my opinion is not only a very special instructor but a very special human being. In all of my years i have not seen a more dedicated, and compassionate martial artist. Master Gardere would give you the shirt off of his back if you asked for it. He use to train almost 24 hrs a day. If he was not training he was teaching, if he was not teaching he was working on something new at 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning. I have watched most of his kids grow up to be come great martial artist. His oldest son Bop, was and still is a world class fighter, his daughter Tiffany became the women's light weight world champion, his son Timothy has progressed so much in his weapons and forms and has become a great martial artist in his own right, and his youngest Sejen has become a great fighter with skills that impress me every time he compete's at my tournament. Master Gardere trains his students hard, because he cares about them and his students show just how well they are trained when it comes to competition. I am honored to call master Gardere my brother and my friend.I would refer this school to anyone who is looking for a true MASTER of the martial arts.

I use to go to Twin Tigers along time ago. I had to quit because of my job, but now I am back. I trained under sifu for 2 years and I have to say that they were the best two years of my life. I was focused, strong, flexible and I had my head on straight, sifu made sure of that. You know most instructors only care about how many students they have because the more students the more money, but sifu actually cares more about the students. He wants to make sure that his students are headed down the right path, that they are respectful, that they own up to their mistakes when they do something wrong. I know he helped me out alot. I am proud to say that I am a student of Twin Tigers Kung Fu and that sifu is my instructor. I have and always will hold the highest respect for him..

After talking to master Eric i felt comfortable right off the bat. I could tell that he was a person of good nature and honesty. Since enrolling my daughter in Twin Tigers i have fallen on hard times and lost my job, master Eric worked with me so that my daughter could continue her training. I am so grateful that we came here and I would refer this studio to any one.

I have known sifu for over 11 years, I have trained with him and I have taught with him. I have read most of all these ratings and it is good to see so many people who respect and appreciate him. I did notice the two negative reports and I have to say that people who create their own problems should not blame others for their failures. It is a shame that the person that wrote the negative report that so called trained with sifu for 10 years, is the same person that wrote the second negative report titled a problem with this school. As i stated, I have known sifu for over 11 years and I don't know any martial artist that does not respect him. He has paved the way for so many martial artist and he has contributed to so much of what goes on in the martial arts today. I could not say it any better then Master Zhong Lou from the Dragon House in San Fran. when he pulled sifu up into the ring one night at one of his MMA Dragon House fights and told every one how sifu is one of the pioneers that opened up the way for mixed martial arts and how if it were not for martial artist like him, with the dedication, love and devotion for the arts that the true martial arts would not have evolved into what it is today. Now there are tons of martial art studios out there that don't care about how they teach their students, to them, it is all about the money. Twin Tigers and sifu are not one of them. Every tournament that I have attended in the past 15 years, there has not been one that the promoter has not announced sifu's name as one of the greats or as the legendary. If you truly want to train at a facility that has one hell of an instructor then my suggestion would be to look up sifu Gardere and just talk with him. You will find that in just speaking with him that Twin Tigers is the best place for yourself or your child to train at. He is a great leader, coach instructor and a great friend. Much Love & Respect to a great man.

Twin Tigers Kung Fu is simply wonderful. I have never seen a more dedicated instructor to his students as SiFu Gardere. He has pushed his students to heights that even they did not know they could reach, including my own. I never in my wildest dreams thought that my son could enter into a tournament and take first place, but sifu knew differently and pushed my son to believe that he could achieve anything as long as he did not give up and as long as he just tried. Well we just attended a tournament in Pittsburg Ca. and my son took first place in sparring. I was so proud of him, and sifu was right there at his side to coach him. I could not be more happier with a martial arts studio as I am with Twin Tigers Kung Fu. I am so great full that I was referred to this studio. Thank you to my best friend, and yes I would tell anyone to come here.

Most people say that their instructor is the best, because in most cases they don't know any better then that instructor. I have seen some good instructors and I have seen some pretty bad ones but in all cases to the parents and the kids they are the best.I have to say that in all of the martial arts instructors that I have run across Master Eric Gardere is one of the best. I have been teaching martial arts for over 30 years, I have competed against master Gardere in the old days and he was and still is one tough S.O.B. Master Gardere is one of those martial artist that has a natural talent for the martial arts, along the lines as Bruce Lee and some of the top martial artist out there. He is gifted with knowledge, talent, patience and the ability to work with anyone. I have great respect for Master Gardere and I use to say always, I would beat him some day, well unfortunately that day never came. In fact I can not recall anyone back then ever beating him. Would I refer anyone to train with him? Of course. If you are looking for a great instructor, he is one of them.

Since my son been here he learn so much. He compete in tournament and practice for parade to come next month. His teacher very very good, I talk with him and he know very much about the martial art. Now my son very happy with his class and he will be here very long time. excellent place to bring son or daughter to train.

I have a daughter in Twin Tigers Kung Fu, she is only 13 and she is severely over weight. I wanted her to get into the school at first to just keep her active, but I have seen Dr. Gardere work with her one on one and he pushes her to exceed past what she thinks she can do. So far she has been in the school only 2 months, but since she joined she has lost 14lbs and she loves going. What started out to be just a place to keep her active has turned into a blessing for my daughter. I can not find the words to thank Dr. Gardere and the staff at twin tigers kung fu for what they have done with my daughter. God Bless all of you at twin tigers.

Twin Tigers Kung Fu is a martial arts studio like no other. Recently 16 students including my son competed in the California state gold tournament in Fresno Ca. and 14 of the sixteen took first place (including my son, Yayyy), one took second and one took third. SiFu Gardere has done a wonderful job with these kids and I have been at every class with my son and SiFu is there teaching every class. I have great respect for his knowledge of the martial arts and his talents as a fighter. SiFu Gardere and SiFu Tina are not only great instructors but they are great human beings. They put together a Halloween party for the kids this past October where all of the students met at their home so that the kids could all go out trick or treating together, then afterwards they had pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, beans and plenty of deserts and sodas. This studio not only says that they try to be a family, they are a family. If you want your child to attend a great martial arts studio, then Twin Tigers is the place to bring them. I would recommend them to everyone.

My name is Kevin, I am 26 years old and I moved to Los Banos 4 years ago. I have been looking for a real place to train in the martial arts and believe me I have trid everything from Kenpo to so called MMA here in this city and not a single one of them is advanced in their training as twin tigers kung fu. I mean everything from learning kicks to fighting techniques to the one day that we do nothing but work on exercising. Sifu says he wants to make sure that we are in shape. But my point is this, I have learned how to do kicks that no one has ever even mentioned to me let alone tried to teach me. I have learned knowledge about the martial arts and i have become a better person. I now have more self confidence, self motivation and i have more control over my temper. I thank sifu and twin tigers kung fu for that for you are the real deal.

I can not begin to express how happy we are with Twin tigers kung fu. We had been looking for a good studio for our children to study at but could not find any place that we or our children liked, until we came to Twin tigers. Dr. Gardere is one of the most knowledgeable martial artist that I have ever met. He takes pride in the way that he teaches his students and our children are happy there. They actually get upset if they have to miss a class at any time. We just attended a tournament this past week end and all of the students did great. My children came home ready to do another one, and doctor Gardere was not only given the Humanitarian of the year award but was also inducted into the California state martial arts hall of fame. Now that say's a lot about the kind of instructor he is. I would recommend Twin Tigers Kung Fu to any one.

My name is Grand Master D. Arriola, I am one of Master Gardere's instructors, in fact i was his first instructor. I have known Eric ever since he was a little boy, way before he became the man that he is today. When Eric first began his training with me he was only 4 years old, and all though he was so young I knew that he would be a great martial artist some day. Eric was one of those people who come along once in a lifetime that you just know has the potential to take things to another level. What ever i would show him he would master it in a very short time, i could not teach him fast enough before he was ready to learn the next level. I had the pleasure and the honor of training Eric for a little over ten years. I have followed his career for the past 54 years and i still keep in touch with him. I know that he takes great pride in the way that he teaches his students and he is always seeking out knowledge, this is what i have taught him from day one,"you never stop learning". Any one who has the opportunity to train under my old student should consider themselves very lucky because they don't make them like him any more. I could not be any more proud of him then I have been for the past 54 years.

I have known Eric Gardere for 21 years now. I know that he has always been a martial artist and has devoted his life to the martial arts. He has trained under some of the most highest and respect Instructors around. Eric Gardere is a very honorable person. He is compassionate, and is always willing to help you out. I should know because he put me on the right path and basically saved my life. I was on a destructive path for a long time and Eric helped me to straighten my life out. His teachings of the martial arts is not just how to defend yourself, but he teaches you knowledge about life and how you can use the martial arts way of thinking to get by in hard times and in any situation with out really having to fight. At present I now live in Modesto and I still keep in touch with Eric Gardere. If I need someone to talk to or to just cheer me up he is always there. He is a true master of the martial arts.

I am very disappointed in the person that left the two comments that said "The Truth & a problem at this school". i know who wrote these comments and yes she wrote both of them. I was there when this person was there at Twin Tigers and Si Fu did nothing but treat this girl with respect. He gave her chance after chance to make up her belt test but she always had an excuse about why she could not do what was expected of the testing. She was always on her cell phone during class and she always told si fu that she had to leave early for some reason or another. I think that it is a shame that when people can't cut it or get kicked out of something that they have to put the blame on others instead of themselves. Si Fu is and always has been one of the most complete martial artist that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I have known him for over 12 years and I still to this day consider him my Si Fu. Would I recommend any one to this studio? with out a hesitation. In my personal opinion one would be crazy to go any where else.

My personal experience at Twin Tigers has been nothing but great. Sifu Gardere is one of the most honorable people that I have ever met. He is one of the few martial art instructors that actually lives what he teaches. I mean he teaches honor, respect and responsibility in his studio and that is how he is. I have a lot of respect for Sifu because I have been to other martial art schools and I thought that I had learned something from them but when I came to twin tigers I found out that I did not know half of what I thought I knew. I have been pushed to do things that I never even dreamed of doing and I can say this about all of the instructors there, that all of them are very knowledgeable in what they are doing. Sifu's son Tim is a great instructor who has helped me to learn some of the extreme martial art moves and his other son Sejen is very talented in fighting. My goal is to beat him some day, but that will be a long time from now because he is so good. Sifu teaches us how to perfect ourselves,he teaches us fighting techniques and counter move and he over see's every class to make sure that we are learning properly. Sifu Tina teaches all of the little ones and is very good with them. I do not have any kids right now but if I did, this is where I would bring them to learn martial arts. I would recommend twin tigers kung fu to anyone.

I can not express how happy I am that we found twin tigers kung fu.my children attended a karate school here in Los banks and the husband and his wife were constantly fighting in the school in front of the kids and the instructor always smelt like alcohol.I was told about twin tigers by a friend of mine who had her kids in the same karate school but took them out for the same reasons as I took mine. When I first talked with the instructor I knew that there was a big differe between the old instructor and sifu Gardere. I am so glad that I was told about twin tigers because this school is awesome. My children are doing great and are truly learning something now. My children will be here for a long time.

I have 4 kids ages 9, 7, 3, and 2 years. Several months ago my son (7) had some trouble with a kid at his school. Long story short, I decided it was time to get my kids into something that would not only teach them how to defend themselves but teach them discipline. I found exactly what I was looking for at Twin Tigers. My oldest two kids are highly involved and absolutely love the studio and everyone involved. My 3 year old does some things but mostly she likes to participate in the lineup and anything involving jumping. Twin Tigers is a family friendly environment. Sifu Tina and Dr. Gardere are absolutely awesome teachers and are both highly knowledgeable about martial arts. I would recommend this studio to anyone intereted in learning martial arts or fitness in general.

My name is Dr. Eric Gardere, I am the instructor for Twin Tigers Kung Fu. I would like to first of all thank all of the students and parents of students both present and past for their kind words towards my self and of Twin Tigers Kung Fu. I would like to reply to the comment that was left titled the Truth. I know who this person is but I will not release her name because I feel that it would not be right for me to put her name out there for others to see who she is. This person was a student of mine, she was with me for a while but trained under my daughter who happens to be the women's light weight world Champion. This student was hardly ever at the studio to learn anything and she always had an excuse of why she could not do what was asked of her as a part of her training. If it wasn't because of her knee it was because of something else. It is very hard to try and teach someone anything if they are not there in the class. She mentions my sons. One she says can not do anything because he is over weight? this is why he is now a 5 time World Champion in forms & weapons. She also mentions my other son whom she say's did not want to be in the studio but yet he is also a 5 time world champion in point sparring. Both of these boys are constantly in the paper for their achievements in the martial arts and the studio has won first place almost every year in the local parade for best of show over not only all other local studios but over other groups. I have no ill feelings towards any of my former students and of all of them she happens to be the only one that has something negative to say about Twin Tigers. We are now well known not only in the united states but also in China, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Europe, Hawaii, Australia and now India. I am sorry that this person felt that because she was asked to leave the studio that she feels that she needs to slander my self and the name of Twin Tigers Kung Fu, but I guess it is true when they say "you can't please every one". I wish only the best for her.

I have read some of the comments that some people have left on here and I am confused at the one by the person who said nothing but negative things about Twin Tigers Kung Fu. I don't know who this person is or why they would write such negative things about this studio because I came here actually for their fitness training and I ended up taking the martial arts class. I am a 38 year old female and I have gone to other local Karate studio's but never really learned anything. I have gone to two different health clubs here in L.B and they did not do a thing for me. Ever since I have come here to Twin Tigers, not only have I lost weight, but I have been able to do things that i never thought that I could ever do. Dr. Gardere pushes his students to do things that they never dreamed of doing. We have one day of training called circuit training, it is two hrs. of intense body conditioning, I remember my first time doing this Dr. Gardere told me that if i did not feel like getting sick then he wasn't doing his job. He wasn't kidding, halfway through the course I ran to the rest room, but I came back out and felt like a million dollars. This is what I was looking for but could never find. Twin Tigers is helping me to prepare myself for any altercations that I may have and to be able to, as he puts it, react off of reaction. I have not mastered it yet but I have only been here for three and a half months and I plan on being here for a very long time. two thumbs up from me.

I have a son that could not even walk straight with out tripping over his own feet. He was very shy, had no self confidence and no self esteem. Since he has been at twin tigers kung fu he has improved so much with his confidence, and self esteem. He is now trying out for sports which is something that he never did before in the past, he is more out going and he has become more social with his class mates. I attend my son's tournaments and at first I was not sure about him competing because he did not do very well but Dr. Gardere informed my son and I that loosing was a stepping stone to winning. I had never heard any one say that before. Now I have seen so much improvement in my son's fighting skills because of his training with twin tigers. He use to get beat all the time when he first started to compete, now he has started to win some of his competitions and I am looking forward to watching him every month. He is to the point to where he can't wait until the next tournament each month. Twin tigers training methods have not only increased my sons fighting skills but also his health. Thank you so much. If you are looking for a place for your child to actually learn to me a martial artist, then this is where they need to be. God Bless Dr. Gardere and all that you do for your students.

My name is Jacob, I came to Twin Tigers Kung Fu because i use to be involved in the gang scene. I am not proud of it but I wanted to do something better with my life. When I first came to Twin Tigers and talked with Sifu I felt comfortable and decided to join. Once I became a student of twin tigers I started to have trouble at my school because of my old gang affiliations, I was being threatened on a daily basis because I did not want that life any more. Sifu was there when I needed him. He would talk to me about the Lord and helped me to change my life totally. He talked to my mom and had offered to open his home to me so that I could finish my senior year at Los Banos high in order to get me away from the gang problems. I lived with sifu for 3 months until my mom got sick and I had to move back home to help her out. I am no longer involved any gang members, I attend church regularly,I am doing great in school with my grades and as soon as my mom gets better I will be back at Twin Tigers Kung Fu. SiFu I thank you for giving me back my life and setting me back on the right path. I will always look up to Sifu as my dad. To this day he keeps in touch with me to make sure that I am doing well and encourages me when ever I need it. I would recommend Twin Tigers Kung Fu to any one.

I had my kids in one of the other local studio's for 26 months and I have to honestly say that they have learned more at Twin Tigers in the past 6 months then they did in those 26 months at the other studio. One of the things that I really like about Twin Tigers, is that SiJo Gardere takes the time out to explain everything that he teaches, what it is used for, how it is applied and what can happen if it is done wrong. SiJo Gardere is one of the most knowledgeable martial art instructors that i have ever met. It is an honor to have my children in Twin Tigers Kung Fu.

Twin tigers is a family orientated company and they take care of there student's. And Dr Gardere has been teaching for over 30 years. If you want a great studio that's going to teach you or your kids honer respect and discipline and know how to protect themselves. Twin tigers the place.
Me and my 3kids love it. And My son was jumped by 3 kids and he was able to protect him self. And Dr Gardere went with me to the school to help me talk to the principle. My son did not get sauspended from school. I have the up most respect for the studio. And the Gardere family.

I was a student and friend of eric gardere. i no longer call him sifu. at first he lured me in with buzz words like family and best training possible. Well after spending enough time at the school i realized that it was pretty much just a sales pitch. First off, i was never actually trained by eric gardere. his son taught most of the stuff, i say stuff because i could never quite understand him. And it seemed he had trouble doing most of the moves properly ( his son is 16 ) it seemed due to his being overweight. His other son was constantly acting out in the gym and was a complete and total disruption. it seemed the only person who didnt know that his youngest son didnt want to be in the gym was eric gardere himself. His wife would yell and scream at students and fights amongst class members and teachers was common. Especially his two sons. I found out that he was doing alot of questionable stuff. That is when i ended my relationship with twin tigers kung fu. i haev since found another home and there is no drama, no shadyness and no teacher walking around blaming everyone else for his shortcoming.

Dr. Gardere not only cares about his students in the studio but makes sure that the life lessons that he teaches are followed and applied outside the studio. Dr. Gardere is not only a great fighter but also a man of great wisdom, compassion and honor. I have never had a person to look up to until I started my training here at Twin Tigers. If you truly want to learn more then just how to fight, then this is where you need to be because Dr. Gardere will take you to the next level.

I have been training at Twin Tigers for over 10 years directly under Dr. Gardere. It has been a great experience for me training with a 17 time World Champion and 3 time hall of famed. Dr Gardere has been inducted into the IKF Master's list and has been training in the arts for the past 53 years. It has been truly an honor and a pleasure to work and train with Dr. Gardere. He has not only been a great teacher and friend but he has also been a great father. My dad trained with the late Master Bruce Lee back in the mid to late 60s before his untimely death and has trained me to be the best martial artist and person that I can be. I have become the women's light weight World Champion, my younger Brother (15) now holds the World Title for forms and my youngest brother holds the World Title in point sparring for his division. He also produced 12 divisional champions in only one year. If you truly want to learn the martial arts from a man that cares about what he teaches, from a man that has such passion for the martial arts, then Twin Tigers is where you what to train.

When I came to Twin Tigers Kung Fu I was 49 years old, I am now 58 years old. I have always contributed my success as a martial artist to Twin Tigers Kung fu. All though I have trained in a Kenpo studio after Twin Tigers, TTKF will always be my home.I took so many first place competitions because of my training with my SiJo, Dr. Eric Gardere. He personally took the time out to train me and to work with not only my sparring but my forms. I have since moved away, but still keep in contact with my old instructor to this day. As I said Twin Tigers Kung Fu will always be my martial arts home and Dr. Gardere will always be my SiJo. I miss all of my old class mates.

My little one has been training at Twin Tigers Kung Fu for the past 3 years. He started when he was 4 years old. I can not believe the change in my son, he is physically fit and he is so flexible, but more importantly he is so respectful. When we first went to Twin Tigers DR. Gardere told my husband and I that he does not just teach the physical part of the martial arts but he teaches the mental and the spiritual parts of the martial arts, he said that it takes three parts of the martial arts to truly become a martial artist. It shows in my son. I am so proud of him and I am so glad that we came to Twin Tigers Kung Fu.

My son has been training at Twin Tigers Kung Fu for the past 2 years. When he first started at Twin Tigers he basically had two left feet, over the last two years my son has not only gained his confidence but he has also been placed on their demo team and has become one of the top students in the studio. I would recommend this studio to any one who truly wants to learn the martial arts.

Twin Tigers Kung Fu is one of the most hard working studios that I have ever been in. The instructors are on point when it comes to teaching. They make sure that when they show you something that you get it down perfectly. While they do not allow playing around in their studio they try to make the class a fun place to learn. I have learned more at Twin Tigers Kung Fu then I have learned at any other studio that I have trained at.
People i just want to say that I read every last one of the reviews here on this site. I wanted to research different studios in Los Banos to find out rich one was the best for me. After reading ALL of the reviews I decided to give twin tigers a call. I asked about some of the comments that were on here, both positive and negative and I was given straight answers. So I decided to give them a try. I was invited to do a free one week try out to see if I truly wanted to do this so I excepted. After just one week i was not only sore but I actually learned something within that time frame. Impossible you might say? I would have thought so to if i heard it from someone else, but it's true. Not only did I learn some martial art moves, but I learned that i could get sore in places that I never knew existed. (lol). I also learned a little about Kung Fu and how it came about but most importantly, I learned that those negative reviews had to have come from people who either had a personal grudge against this studio or who just could not make it in here. I could not find any validation in what any of those reviews stated. This is a very hard working studio, they train hard, they work as a unit, the instructors are very good at what they do and there is no way that even the slowest learning person cant learn in here. I read one review about a little girl who had autism and how she was helped, and I also read a review where the person said that they did not learn anything, so they tried to rob a store and they gave a bad review. Well I must say this. "If a little girl with autism can learn in here, then what is your excuse"? People if you truly want to learn martial arts, and you are looking for a great teacher then twin tigers kung fu is the place to be. But don't take my word for it, like I said You must experience it for yourself.
