Took a women's self defense class

I took a women's self defense class here. Not only did they teach us how to protect ourselves, but also taught us to be aware. They really went out of there way to make sure we knew what we were doing while providing a friendly, family atmosphere. So glad I took this class and meet such nice instructors.

An Excellent Place To Learn Martial Arts

My boys started coming to Triple J of Paks in June and I've noticed a huge change in them. They carry themselves with confidence. They're also constantly helping each other practice. The environment in which Master John has created is one of caring. He makes sure that every student gets some individual attention. He even spends more time with those students struggling. All of the more experienced students help out as well. It's like one big family. If you are thinking of enrolling at Triple J of Paks, I recommend them highly. If you haven't enrolled, you really should.

Martial arts place that cares about all

The school is a place that seems to care about their students and community. They participate in community events where they help, not do demos. Their price is low so it is easily affordable. The instructors, Sr. Master Robertson, Master Robertson, instructor Jeff compliment each other in their training. The other in structures do a great job also and are very supportive. Master Robertson is great with forms and very good in kicking and can see that he likes working with showing proper ways to do the kicks. Sr. Master is also very knowledgeable with the art of self defense and can tell her loves working with people. All instructors actually do well and can see they all care about each other. I feel it is a great place to study where they are strict but keep it light. You learn way more than just the study if Tang Soo Do, and the ages are widely spread out. I would definitely look at this school.

Gain Peaceful Confidence

My grandson and I have been students of Triple J of Pak’s Karate since January 2015. We joined after my daughter learned about the studio from Senior Master John. We immediately found Senior Master John, Master JR, and Instructor Jeff to be very knowledgeable, very capable of training and sharing their knowledge, friendly, encouraging, and supportive. The other students of ranks higher than ours are also very encouraging and supportive. In addition to the formal training in Tang Soo Do, its forms and tenets, we receive specialized training in self-defense. Everything we are taught and practice seems to be aimed towards peaceful confidence.

We have two active girls (5 &7) and I was perfectly happy with our normal cutesy dance classes and sports. .. what else do they really need. This is where "Daddy" suggested we try this also. I didn't need them beating each other or having crazy karate matches through the house. I sat through the first few visits just observing. NOT at all what I expected. It's a small studio with a broad age difference; the combination classes allow the younger kids to see where they can take this art of they stick with it. Sr. Master Robertson strives to contain costs and do more with less but without sacrificing quality.

There is a caring, family environment and competitive spirit of friendship without feeling like you or your kid is going to get their teeth kicked in due to inexperience. I love the different level of trainers and interchange between the different belts. They won me over. We can be as involved as we want to be or stay out of the competition. My better half was right. ..it happens a lot lately. The girls love it too & learn about real life self defense in part too.

We are so lucky to have them in town-- accessible & professional, something that rarely exists these days
