Been training at Travis Lutter's BJJ for almost 2 years now. My two daughters 8 and 16 train with me as well and love it. Great family environment! It's amazing to see all of the black belts on the mat going out of their way to help you improve daily. Great coaching!

Definitely recommend it to anyone with a passion for living a healthy lifestyle !

I've been training here for seven years this October and have always been highly satisfied with the instruction and training that I receive. That is saying alot because I'm very particular with how I spend my time. There are alot of other jiu-jitsu schools out there but if you want to learn from the best in this discipline this is the only school to consider in this area.

I have been taking classes at Travis Lutter for 18 months and would recommend this gym to anyone thinking about trying martial arts. This is a great place to learn, have fun, and get in shape. It is a great environment if you're training for serious competition or just for self defense and getting fit. They also offer classes in Muay Thai, Boxing, wrestling and MMA. They have two locations and day, evening, and weekend schedules that can fit anyone's schedule.

The instructors are professional and knowledgeable. I have a previous injury that limits the use of my arm and they have taken the time to work with me and adjust the moves to fit what I can physically do. The instructors and other students are like a family and all are willing to help you improve.

One of the biggest reasons I go to Lutter BJJ is because we train with some of the best Jiu Jitsu practitioners. Whether it is locally, nationally or internationally, there have been Lutter BJJ competitors go out and come home with medals. The Jiu Jitsu you learn can definitely be applied to real world self-defense situations as well. (Speaking from experience)

To the people interested in the art itself and/or in bettering themselves, this is definitely a gym to go to. You will learn a useful real world applicable martial art, and get in shape with the tremendous physical demand it takes to do the drills/sparring required. There is also a sense of comradery through the entire gym. Everyone is trying to help each other get better.

My son trains at Travis Lutter BJJ and loves every minute of it. He's been training for almost 2 years and has been under expert instructors since the beginning. The instructors truly care and give of themselves every session. The cost is reasonable and we've never had any issues with billing.

The classes are scheduled at convenient times and are well attended every night of the week. During competition seasons the is a competition class led by Travis Lutter and supported by other advanced belts who train on the team. It's a completely unique experience to have that level of one on one training with high level instructors on a consistent basis for your kids.

Our family loves Travis Lutter BJJ

My son was in this program for less than a month when we decided to try another sport and they said I had to pay them over $800. This is the worst scandal since the George W. Bush administration!

Expect scam artists in the form of a legitimate gym. Sure, the instruction is ok, but if you ever consider leaving the gym you'll pay dearly. Expect to be charged another 6 months after canceling membership. Joining this gym was one of the worst financial disasters I've had.

Travis Lutter gym scams hard working people out of their hard earned money. Beware of this gym... its a money pit and they don't care about members or their reputation. The guy that handles billing is a bully and will continue to charge your account after you cancel.

Travis Lutter's billing department is a major scam. You will be billed indefinitely after canceling membership. You will lose hundreds of dollars training at this gym. Do not join. Find a better gym.

BEWARE OF THEIR SCAMFUL BILLING!!! Read other reviews about how the contract is set up. It's a shame that you can only train at the gym after signing a convoluted contract that will scam you out of money after TRYING to cancel your membership. Once attempting to cancel your membership you will continue to get charged for training you do not receive EVEN AFTER agreeing to pay the cancellation fee. They do not refund membership fees either. This gym is a front for a money machine. They do not care about members... they only care about revenue.

Tried canceling months ago, and thought everything was handled. Find out today im still being charged because all they did was freeze my account. Was told after 8 months I could cancel, but when you call the out of state billing AAC i find out im required to pay 12 payments. Was even charged while I was deployed overseas. I am extremely livid about this situation and id hate for anyone else to make the same mistake.

Don't get scammed by this gym

Here's the setup: You call in and they don't want to answer any questions- just telling you to 'come in, and wear gym clothes'

They perform a 5 minute fitness test and tell you that you can double your scores in a few weeks of training. They then will give you a hard sell and want you to sign up for 7-12 months of programs and that if you sign up that day you can waive all the registration fees.

Well sad to say I did it.. the training was not what I thought it was going to be and cancelling has been a nightmare. They run everything through an out-of-state billing agency and it's near impossible to get anything done.

It's months later and I'm still trying to not get billed by this gym, DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN THIS SCAM!! AVOID THIS GYM

I agree with other comment. They have no no gi class and don't offer much for kids. Kids class is not well thought out mixing 4 yr olds to teens. I been to a lot of jiu jitsu schools and never seen this. It appears they don't care about quality of kids they have. They just want money. I will be taking my son out as well...the owner needs to look at this issue if they care. Yes I know they been told by other parents on these issues

Yr contract paying good chunk of money for 4 to 12 year olds learning and being in same class. I don't see how a kid can improve his game here. I'm taking my son out once his yr is up. They need to change a lot at this school. More about money than making good quality kid grapplers. The adult programs seem better ran and more into it than the kids.
