The Wing Chun system is practical outside of self-defense for when you practice the system in class the principles change a person's thinking pattern and can become applied to create a simple lifestyle and simple as in uncluttered and order sense. Removes fear because you're trained to handle what come your way regardless of amount of force of any direction. In turn, builds calm confidence that anyone outside the system will not know the calm before the storm can happen if physical combat arises. Through my experience and proper guidelines from Ismail Agcicek the WCS is better used than others mainly because it never creates a person to test their new found ability because its already known to the practitioner so the need to prove ones self never enters the world that's around the person. One more comment is once engaged in class and practice, your friends will not understand why you choose not to fight unless necessary because it teaches to unleash All that you have and its like your life is being threatened regardless of circumstances every hit will come from the WILL TO LIVE and knowing so, just like you don't want some one to finish your life you will hold back as long as you can to finish theirs.
