I have studied Shotokan Karate for many years across Japan, SE Asia, and the United States. Traditional Martial Arts Center (TMAC) is authentic training at its finest! Peer Halperin Sensei is a dedicated teacher offering classes in Shotokan Karate and Batto-do (Japanese Sword) for all ages and levels of experience. If you have ever considered learning these artforms then look no further. It has been an honor to train with Halperin Sensei, and I am proud to call TMAC my dojo home!
We were looking for a sport activity that would help our daughter build self-esteem and confidence and learn discipline while getting a good exercise and the Traditional Martial Arts Center and Sensei Halperin have exceeded all of our expectations! I strongly recommend this class to anyone who’s looking to learn Karate from a true expert. The classes for both youth and adults are held 5 days a week and you get to choose as few or as many classes as you’d like to attend (with no extra cost!) which is especially helpful for busy students who have to balance school vs. other activities.
