Traditional Karate of Bellingham

Traditional Karate of Bellingham is a non-sport oriented school of Japanese/Okinawan karate. Our focus is on adults, teens and families. Everyone (both young and older) train together in a format that is similar to the one-room schools of past times. Children younger than 13 must have a parent or adult guardian train with them.

There is a strong sense of community at our dojo. Everyone is focused on self improvement, physical well-being, self defense, and the values of traditional karate.

Sensei (Teacher) Bellingar has been training in karate since 2000 and instructing since 2013.

Weekly schedule is as follows:
Tuesday - Doors open by 7:00 pm - General class from 7:15 to 8:15.
Thursday - Doors open by 5:30 pm - General class from 6:00 to 7:10.
Saturday - Doors open by 9:30 am - General class from 10:00 to 11:00.
