I took judo from Tim Joe from a very early age, about 8 if i remember correctly.

Tim is not simply a master judo player, but has taken the hardest training offered in the world, at the Kodokan Academy that is the official world wide headquarters of the sport.
If you have a black belt in Judo, it is registered here. It is the world center of the art at it's highest form.
This is where Tim Joe got his belts; one would have to go to LA, NY or Chicago to find any one at Tim's level of instruction.
He is not only a impressively trained artist; he is an exceptional teacher with a loving rapport with the children he teaches. He loves kids, and we loved him. He has a gift for teaching complex things and a philosophy and moral code that teaches control and self-discipline.
I am bipolar and credit Tim with both not being in prison and with having no record of violent behavior, despite my mental illness. If you want to teach y our kids self restraint and ti effectively protect themselves - this is the place.
It can even work out to be cheaper than babysitting sometimes and when they get home they are so whipped all they want is food and bed.
