We are a Wing Tsun (Wing Chun / Ving Tsun) Kung Fu school, led by Chief Instructor Jason Malik. We are a Wing Tsun Academy affiliate school overseen by Sifu Bradford Wohlner (4th TG under Sifu Tam Yiu Ming).
Wing Tsun is a very practical and efficient combat art, geared towards real world self defense. Our system is designed to be effective regardless of size, strength, age, or gender. Anyone can learn it.
We teach the Leung Ting lineage of Wing Tsun Kung Fu. Wing Tsun was made popular by the late Bruce Lee, who learned from Grandmaster Yip Man, and that popularity has grown exponentially with the recent release of the Ip Man (Yip Man) movies. Grandmaster Leung Ting was the final closed door student of Grandmaster Yip Man before he retired.
Starting in January 2018, we are officially launching our Jeet Kune Do program. Chief Instructor Jason Malik has received full instructor certification in the Jerry Poteet lineage under Sifu Paul Johnson, who oversees the JKD program.
Jeet Kune Do is a system of fighting developed by the late Bruce Lee, based on Wing Tsun, western boxing, and fencing. He was constantly studying and cross training with other arts to further refine his system to make sure it was combat ready against any opponent.
Our school is also an affiliate school of the Stay Bladed organization, where Jason Malik (Lieutenant, Houston Stay Bladed Chapter) is an instructor of the Kali/Escrima based bladed weapons combat. Jason is also an apprentice blade smith under Jon Chapman of Guardian Angels Knives.
