Texas IsshinRyu Karate Academy

HONOR - COURAGE - COMMITMENT

We teach a traditional Okinawan style of karate in IsshinRyu karate lead by Sensei John Mitchell. We stress self-defense as well as competing in the local tournaments here in Ft. Worth/Dallas.

Our Ju-jitsu program is heading by GrandMaster Lee Hickman, and strictly deals in self-defense only, we do not train for tournaments in Ju-jitsu

Our Hapkido program is also for self-defense only, and is only taught for students over the age of 12-13. Again, we do no train for tournaments in Hapkido.

We also instruct a full Japanese Weapons program that includeds the bo, sai, tonfa, jo, and sword. This is for ages 12 years old and older ONLY
