The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at PKSA Karate:
Professional Karate Schools of America (PKSA Karate) teaches Tang Soo Do martial arts for ages 4-104. PKSA Karate emphasizes traditional martial arts instruction. This means showing respect to the instructor, learning centuries old forms (hyung) while having fun in a clean, pleasant atmosphere. The children's programs teach respect, discipline, focus, self defense, stranger danger, and bully defense. At PKSA Karate parents can train with their children and have a shared FUN activity.
Children can start as young as age 4. They are in a special 30 min class for 4 and 5 year olds called Little Ninjas.
Children ages 6 and up take classes based on their rank (knowledge level) and take 2 days a week choosing from 6 different days of the week.

Adults are more than welcome and parents can not only train alongside their children, there are special adult only classes available.
PKSA Karate requires 10 month agreements. We also have our super Kids Power and Ninja Power programs that are offered during the school year for a wonderful 7 week introduction to martial arts. There are other trial programs offered at select times so adults can see that PKSA Karate is the right martial arts school for them. During the summer we feature martial arts camps with our very popular and FUN movie camp. We also feature women's self defense classes that are open to the community.
Michael Tullier, is the owner and master instructor holding a 5th degree black belt. He began training in 1989. In 1994, he became the owner of Zachary Tang Soo Do College. In 1997, he purchased the main location for Tang Soo Do in the Baton Rouge area. In 2002, he became a 4th degree black belt or Master rank instructor. In 2009, he became part of the Professional Karate Schools of America franchise. In 2010, he opened a 2nd location in Prairieville which continues to thrive. In 2012, PKSA Karate moved to it's present location on Jefferson Hwy.
