I was looking for a place to learn Wing Chun I also got a great work out and fun relationships. The instructor prides himself on teaching good technique and endurance. We train for real world experience in self defense. Students encourage each other and provide positive feedback generating confidence. I look forward to advancing in Wing Chun Kung Fu and developing friendships with fellow students.

This is a great place to learn an effective and devastating martial art. The instructor takes a very hands on approach, as soon as you walk through the door and class begins the training starts. The warm-up part of every session included exercises and mit training in a way that allows the students to build power into their techniques. Following the warm-up, the real learning begins with technique explanations and execution. Garret Brumfield is the chief instructor at the Tampa Wing Chun location and he is very well qualified. He has trained under Sifu Justin Och for over 7 years. If you do not think he is qualified to teach the class then he will be happy to accept any challenges and make a believer out of you.

I've practiced martial arts a majority of my life, but have definitely not enjoyed any more than I have here. Friendly environment with realistic training, and one of the few schools you get to train with the instructor them self, who also happens to be very down to earth. Also if you'r looking for fitness look no further, high school sports and the such have never worked the muscles. I have to work in wing chun, its like a whole different type of strength!

For many years i have jumped martial art styles mainly because every school i joined had the same philosophy. The philosophy was the teacher showed you something and you were on your own in a flooding group of people. For some that's ok but for me i enjoy being a part of something. You know having friends that want to help you get better and an instructor who takes the extra step to make sure you'r getting the instruction needed. That is what you will find with Tampa Wing Chun Kung Fu.
