Reviews of Talamantez Family Karate Center

I enrolled my 4 year old son in June of 2016. He was naturally drawn to karate automatically. I wanted to make sure he really wanted to do this because I am the type that once I (we) make a commitment we are in it until the end. I did not want him to get bored and want to walk away. At Talamantez Karate they make my son feel welcome, the staff is very inviting and friendly. He has since been asked to be on the BBC (Black Belt Club). He is still a yellow belt but has learned so much in the few weeks that he has been on the BBC. The instructors push them as far as you allow them too. I personally have asked them to be a little more stern with my son as I want him to understand the importance of what karate is as well as focus and respect. I appreciate how closely they work with each one and do not baby them, allowing them to grow as individuals and soon to be future black belts.

My son really enjoys his classes and each time after his class he tells me how much he loves karate. ..thanks to all the instructors and Master T. for giving my son the basic skills of karate and instilling in him the respect that everyone should have on one another.

this school has taught so many students not only selfdefence but life skills and much more. from respect to confident thinking they take care of it and show these students there is much more than fist. that you must use there heads in any situation.
