I am a former student and shodan ( black belt ) of this school. For the money which is a waste, this school does not teach self defence. The instructors at this school are nothing more than glorified aerobic instructors masquerading as karate instructors. The once well respected school has fallen to sport karate, if you can call it that. Although, it is a good workout, but that is about it. They attempt to be politically correct but fail miserably. Once you reach black belt, which takes entirely to long, they honestly look for ways to make you leave. If someone were to ask me for a good self defense school, I would not recommend this particular one.
Small classes instruction on real world situations and not focused on making money but on teaching students how to protect themselves.
