Tactics Martial Arts Studio
Incorporating pressure point strikes, joint locks, kicks,
throws, and sweeps as well as other "tools" of personal
protection, you will have the confidence to face almost
any situation.
We teach concepts, rules, principles, ideas.
We have action-reaction drills for understanding how to apply them.
Our students are not clones, they will react differently to the same attack.
When you can take what we teach and make it your own you then become
an Artist, just like a painter, sculptor, musician or dancer does.
We make you an Artist in the Martial sense.
Within the system of T.A.C.T.I.C.S. we have our main classes and specialized
Workshops. Each are a distinct field of training
complete in and of themselves yet by necessity each
compliments the others thereby offering a full Martial Arts Experience!

Programs & Class Schedule
Korean Hwarang:
"Following the Traditional Martial Arts Lineage but taking it into the 21st Century"
Being an ancient art form of Korea this is our “Traditional” class where you will learn entry combinations, proper kicking, throws, locks, pressure point strikes and much more!
Street adaptability is the focus.
This class is a Mixed Martial Art of Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Jujitsu, Kung Fu and Judo.
Filipino Kali:
A martial discipline not too well known but seen in almost every top movie fight scene.
It incorporates the use of single and double sticks 28” in size. With the same movements learned you are then able to incorporate them into empty hand fighting and knife defense.
Strikes, takedowns, locks and kicks are taught in these classes making them very Combative.
You don’t need a stick to defend yourself. Any object can take its place.
Close Quarter Tactics:
Learn how to control an attacker using joint manipulation and nerve pressure, then adding on destructive striking and throws. C.Q.T. progresses from here using skills you acquire against various attacks, ranging from weapons attacks to multiple assailants.
Kyusho:
Known more commonly as “Pressure Points”, Kyusho is a study of Anatomy. By understanding the human body’s natural ways of defending itself we are able to effect its systems; nervous, muscular, vascular and skeletal. The strikes and grabs learned in our other classes become even more effective and devastating.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu:
Take the fight to the ground!
By using proper technique and leverage a smaller, weaker person can successfully take a bigger, stronger, heavier assailant to the ground, and then by applying joint-locks and chokeholds, defeat the opponent.
BJJ training can be used for sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition or
self-defense.
Sparring, commonly referred to as rolling, and live drilling play a major role in training, and a premium is placed on performance, especially in competition, in relation to progress and ascension through its ranking system.
Kickboxing:
GET IN MOTION!
Partner up and work your combinations!
Using focus mitts, Muay Tai Pads and kicking shields
you get to add footwork to work strikes and kicks.
Work the bags and Sweat!
Learn great punching and kicking combinations.
Stregnthen your Core!
This total body workout will: Shed the pounds, tone you up, build muscle,
quicken your reflexes and build stamina.
Take what you've been learning and put your skills to the test with light sparring.
You will be taught the science behind the fight, how to move and counter, evade and strike.
