TORI Karate works to develop the total concept. Each class begins with stretching and a basic warm-up; about 30 minutes. The next 45 minutes vary class to class. We strive to not let any class be the same as the time before. Our three main focuses are: self-defense, katas and sparring. Monday you might be learning how to defend yourself against a club, Thursday you could be teaching someone a kata and the following Monday we might decide to let everyone spar (controlled, technique-driven fighting.)
