Dr. Thomas has taught Martial Arts to my two grandchildren for several years. They were extremely shy when they entered class for the first time. I have watched their growth under his guidance. He teaches Martial Arts with a holistic approach which includes doing their best at school, showing respect for themselves and others, protecting themselves when someone is trying to cause them harm and practicing safety tips. You will not find a more dedicated Martial Arts instructor.

I appreciate the whole-person approach to each student and the commitment to community involvement for individuals and the group as a whole, as well as his traditional approach to the teaching of martial arts as a lifelong commitment and way of life. Grandmaster Dr. Thomas is skilled and dedicated.

Dr. Thomas has been teaching my daughter tae kwon do since she was 4 years old. She has gone from quiet and introverted to an outgoing and confidant 10 year old. She is now a blue belt and will continue with the Rambler's until she achieves her black belt. The belts are earned and not just given out. There is no "schedule" for belt distribution. She has won quite a few trophies at select tournaments. Dr Thomas is very selective about the tournaments that the school enters to make sure that his standards are met rather than have the kids fight just for the sake of fighting. Dr. Thomas also serves the community by running the school through MNCPPC instead of charging what he is really worth at his own dojo.

I have studied with Dr. Thomas for several years, beginning as a more mature adult. I have come to appreciate martial arts, and I have also become much more confident in myself as a person in many aspects of my life.
