Systema Crystal River is a school in Florida that teaches Russian Systema martial arts.
Systema is an extremely effective self defense system that is concept based. There are no belts, no testing, no formalities. The emphasis is upon free and natural movements, breathing, staying calm, relaxation under fire. We are different and stand out in many ways. We emphasize situations or scenarios where the defender is outnumbered and out weaponed. For example, 2 or more assailants against one, or assailants with knifes where you have none. We practice every aspect of self defense including standing up and being down on the floor or ground. Systema is doable by anyone, give it a try.
