Sunrise is a Great school for self defense and life skills!! Plus, they've taught me a lot. My daughter (at 5) started at a Tae Kwon Do school that taught mostly forms. They closed, and we and another family moved here. Wow!! What a difference!! After almost 2 years there ( she's amost 8), I have no doubts she can handle herself in any situation!! At Sunrise Family Martial Arts, there is no forms, it's always about self defense. They learn Tae Kwon Do, Grappling, and occasional boxing. Another good thing, their belts are straight forward and earned!! There are no Hi/Low for every belt, which cuts down on bogus promotion costs!! We do compete, and that allows your child to put their knowledge to use against someone that is not a close friend!! Even if you're a new comer, you will always feel like family here. They hold several little events that the kids look forward to!! Come Join US!!

When I moved in the area, I use to just look threw the window...a lot. Then I came with my kids to join but financially I wasn't right. So 6 to 7 months later I joined by myself. At that time i joined, I have learned so much in that first one week than I have ever learned in any other school. and now I've been there for 3 months and I'm very happy with what I know. Sunrise martial arts is a very detailed teaching about the true mechanics of how the body works in order to overcome the opponent. The instructor is more than a teacher... He is a advisor, a down to earth guy and also a good friend. I can say that i recommend sunrise martial arts to any one that is interested in martial arts.

I think this school is the best there is in Las Vegas Nevada .I went for 5 months and it took away my anger and my selfishness and I'm just great now i was given a nickname and I'm going to keep it(kickfoot).

I wanted my kids to do something that can teach little selfdefence, keep them busy and interested. This school has it all. The best part is affordadle. I love that...

This is a great place for our kids they like it, they learn, they have fun and as parents we love it.

My Grandson (Red) started training with Master Janaka and his staff at the age of 5 years old. Being from a broken home Red was lacking in CONFEDENCE and SELF ESTEEM. I am proud to say that 2 years later at the age of 7 Red now has EXCELLED greatly because of Sun Rise Family Martial Arts and now is an orange belt! Red Has a POSITIVE ATTITUDE and even at his young age shows DICIPLINE and RESPECT towards his team mates and instructors alike.

Excellent place to for kids of all ages to learn discipline, recept and art of marital arts.

I went in to try one of their cardio kickboxing classes, even though it was early on a Saturday morning, it was fun! I am hooked! The instructor is fun & full of energy! She gave us variation on exercises for beginners and more intermediate, anyone can take this class, regardless of fitness level. I would highly recommed the class!

i am a 40 year old male stationed at Nellis AFB i have been taking classes for 6 months. The classes have really helped improve my scores for the Air Forces Fitness test. i am even more confedent in my ability to defend my family and myself if the situation should happen.

My son has been with Master Janaka for 1 year. My kids started 2 months ago and are having lots of fun and learning surprisingly quick. The instructor is positive with the kids, but still teaches discipline, respect, and confidence. His students consistently perform better at tournaments, which reflects the quality of instruction.

I have been training with Master Janaka for several months now with my now eight year old son. I have lost inches off my waist and have improved my cardio greatly. My son has lost weight too and is more confident than ever. I can't not say enough good things about this school and Master Janaka. Come in and see for yourself and you will not be disappointed!

I brought my son because he was being bullied. Now I don't have to worry so much trying to protect him. Master Janaka has brought not just self defense training or confidence but teaching respect, manors and being a better person in the community.
