Programs & Class Schedule
Strike Back Martial Arts offers the following programs:
ADULT / JUNIOR JUJITSU:
People looking for a more traditional approach to martial arts programs such as Jujitsu can find just that at Strike Back Martial Arts. The adult and junior programs not only cover the ground component but a stand-up striking portion as well, making students well rounded in their abilities. After students learn a particular skill set they are shown and taught how to use it functionally in a self defense situation so that they can have the confidence in knowing that what they are being taught can be effective in a real world setting.
The Functional Self-Protection program is designed for the person who does not have a lot of time to train but still desires to be safe and able to protect themselves or loved ones. The Functional Self-Protection program at Strike Back Martial Arts provides students with a principal based program that allows a student to be effective dealing with violence regardless of their age, sex, size or skill. The program is taught and practiced in a very slow paced and safe environment.
LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING:
Law enforcement officers depend on their training to handle situations they encounter and to keep them safe. Strike Back Martial Arts recognizes the importance of such training and makes it available to all area law enforcement members. Getting ready for the fight before it even happens through mental and physical preparation is the key to making sure law enforcement members stay safe.
This program is conducted by experienced law enforcement members and coordinated by Scott Peters who has over 20 years of law enforcement experience. Scott has served as a SWAT Commander and is currently Western Region Director – New York Tactical Officers Association which provides training and coordination for all Tactical (SWAT) Teams in New York State.
