Great place to study martial arts

I highly recommend Steele's Karate in Salem, Oregon and especially the instructor, John Olivera. The "sensei" has a special gift for teaching karate to students of all ages. He adapts each class to the participants. He is very demanding and holds his students to a high standard. His students all pass their belt tests on a regular basis, which, by the way, are judged by instructors from other karate schools which belong to the Japan Karate Association. John is a very caring instructor as well and wants all of his students to practice in their every day lives the motto of Karate do. I have been studying with John for about five months and am a senior: 70+ years! John never makes me feel out of place. I feel very comfortable in this class. I highly recommend instructor John Olivera to all ages who sincerely want to learn the art and "way" of karate and to progress steadily toward their highest lever.

I have been taking classes for five months at Steele's Karate and find the instructor, John Olivera, to be the best martial arts instructor in Salem. I have an extensive amateur boxing background and have investigated other schools in Salem and decided on Steele's because of the excellence of instruction. I highly recommend John Olivera and Steele's Karate as the best place in Salem to study martial.
