Went to this dojo a few years ago. The sensei that teaches is very knowledgable, but full of himself. He was charging his students myself included $25. 00 per class which is a lot of money at the time. For four classes per week it was one hundred dollars, that is crazy. God only knows what he charges now. The lessons are done in his basement of his house and to supplement his income. He was changing up hours and due to work schedule couldn't keep the hours. Tried to show and he would change and cancel without notice. Ran into his head instructor named Mr. Chase a good man who was more understanding. Got tired of the crazy schedule for his price being trained in a basement, ridiculous. Dojos in Manhattan charge that price for lessons everyday for one month in 2015, not in 2003.
I have been training at this Dojo for over a year.
Very intensive and old-school.
Excellent Instructor with over 50 years experience.
No contracts is a plus.
