Spirit Taekwondo is a traditional/ World Taekwondo based school, Located in Ankeny, IA.
We pride ourselves on instructing students, of all ages and abilities, to reach their full potential and be a leader/role model in the community. We specialize in adaptive/Therapeutic martial arts with Internationally certified instructors.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Spirit TKD:
Each class is designed around the Taekwondo Tenants (Beliefs) of Self-Control, Perseverance, Integrity, Respect/Courtesy and Indomitable Spirit which we pull it all together with Teamwork (SPIRIT). We believe in developing the entire person not just the physical skills. We keep our classes small so each student receives quality instruction.
Schedule:
Mon & Thursday:
Beginners - 6 pm to 7 pm
Advanced - 7 pm to 8 pm
Adaptive TKD:
4pm Students over 13 with Intellectual/ Developmental Disabilities
4:30 pm Students with Autism
5pm Students 5-12 with Intellectual/ Developmental Disabilities
5:30pm Students with mobility challenges
