Reviews of Spero's Martial Arts Academy

I have been training here for about 3 months. The place is family friendly, classes are well run and organized, and the instructors, (Dave and Jake) are knowledgeable and accommodating. All the students welcomed me in, and there was no ego. Highly Recommended

Dave has worked with my child for over 2 years. He's the most caring and kind teacher! He breaks down martial arts so easily for children. I see progress every day. Great facility, clean, and very well equipped. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is top notch. Highly recommended.

I tried to give Sense Dave the benefit of the doubt, but I do not think he deserves the title of sensei. Many classes he lacked enthusiasm, did not constructively work on his students and had poor temperament. Although sometimes he was very nice, these times were over shadowed. He does not seem to clean his establishment very thoroughly either. I also found out some very dark and troubling things about his personal life. He just does not seem genuine, almost to the point of pathological lying. Do not go or send your child here

The school is top notch. The staff includes a current ufc fighter. All coaches are knowledgeable and professional. Dave makes you feel welcome right away. I will never train anywhere else.
