Larry Spears is an awesome Taekwondo Instructor. Our school is in Lemon Grove

Larry Spears has been my instructor for many years now. I have learned a great deal about self defense and more importantly about self control and discipline. Many of our students join becuase they have behavioral issues as well as academic problems. Most children improve in these areas almost immediately. I highly recommend Spears Taekwondo Academy in Lemon Grove!!

GrandMaster Larry Spears brings a level of excellence to the Art that is second to none. Before training with Master Spears I trained with two other schools and simply found that I wasn't getting my moneys-worth. I felt like a number... Once we found Master Spears we immediately noticed a difference not only in the progression of my fighting ability, but also in my behavior and academics in the classroom. Master Spears has become a father to me and has had made an instrumental impact in the overall success of my life. If you are looking for a great place for yourself or your children to train, I highly recommend Spears Taekwondo Academy!

My 4 children have attended here for the past year. Master Spears is great at bringing out the potential of each student. He's also good at working with special need kids such as my son who has ADHD. Training with Master Spears has really helped him learn to focus his energy and learn discipline!
I love training at Master Larry Spears Academy. We learn moves I see in the movies and never thought I would be able to do. Sam is one of the instructors there and he is cool. I always call him superman.
