Karate and Tai Chi Classes are taught by Jack Cowart. Mr. Cowart has taught Karate for over 25 years and enjoys working with all ages. His style is a very traditional approach to the arts.
The M.M.A. is taught by Bryan Touchton, he is an active member of the US Army Airborne.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Southwest Georgia Martial Arts Academy:
Classes are next to the Topp Fitness Center in the IGA parking lot, in Colquitt Ga. Karate classes for most all ages are held on Tues and Thurs Lil' Dragons (4-7 years old) 3:30 - 4:00, Jr. Karate 7 - 12 years old 4:00 - 4:45 Teens and adults 5:30 - 6:30. Tia Chi Classes are Mon - Thurs at 8:30 am, 9:00 am and 9:30am Cost is $50 per month, no contracts and family rates are available. Discounts are available for gym membership and active duty Military.
