Owner and Chief Instructor Sensei Kato John Peragine has over 40 years experience in Shotokan Karate, having been trained by legendary Master Toyotaro Miyazaki. He has competed across the U.S., including Madison Square Garden, and held championship titles in Kata, Kumite, Weapons and Breaking. Peragine has also trained in Jiu-Jitsu, Aiki-Jitsu, Judo, Kung Fu, Wing Chun, grappling, ground fighting, was a Golden Gloves boxer and is a Certified C.O.B.R.A. Self Defense Instructor.
