The influences of Black Lotus Fist and Lucayos Esgrima are From the Streets experiences and teachings, Filipino & South East Asian Martial Arts, Northern Shaolin Quan Fa arts, Kenpo and Montu Arts. lucayos Esgrima is weapon based with a big focus on edged and impact weapons, the types of weapons that might be found in the streets. The Philosophy or mindset that drives our school is to weaponize your way of thinking, not for the sole purpose of violence, but to approach every day situations like you are a weapon, no fear, no hesitation, follow through, a weapon does what it is designed to do, it doesn't divert from it's path. This mindset tries to encourage us to be disciplined and fearless to achieve your success and let nothing get in your way. The teachings from our school can be applied to any existing Martial Art.
