Great place to learn Shotokan Karate

A medium sized school affiliated with SKIF Japan. There is a very mixed curriculum but it's set on different days of the week (kata focus on Friday, ect. ..) The sensei tries to keep things interesting by adding new things into the practices to remind us that karate isn't all about physical, but the mind. A lot of it is why do we have certain moves in kata and can it be used in a real life situation if we were faced with it. I am away taking a break from karate for now and I look forward to coming back to practice when I am able to.
