This school avoids many of the common pitfalls of traditional martial arts dojos (confusing contracts, excessive pride in their style, no or little reality based training, or black belts promoted because they paid a fee instead of actual proficiency in the martial arts) while at the same time giving a more holistic, challenging, and family friendly atmosphere than many self-proclaimed reality-based training clubs.
