The instructors and students are always there for each other fostering a community feel. The only competition that is encouraged is self-improvement. Doing better than you did the day before.
I started studying Kung Fu here back in 2010. While continuing my study of Kung Fu, I also started studying their Tai Chi and Krav Maga programs.
