Hapkido is a Korean martial art that emphasizes self-defense. The components of the system are circular energy with emphasis on pressure points and joint locks to control or incapacitate an opponent. Other elements of the system are strikes (kicking and punching), proper break falling, and weapons techniques (offense and defense)
