If you are looking for a school that teaches Bushido philosophy that will engage your child, this is the dojo. This is not a "romper room/birthday party/after school Martial arts. We were looking for a traditional Martial Arts experience for our son and this was it. They have terrific instructors who care about each child and my son can't wait to go again and again. They have a great program and we feel like part of a family. Love Shisei Ryu!

Nothing special here. The same circulum over and over again. I had my child (aged 5-6) in the class for 6 months doing exactly the same thing every class (the same 3-4 moves over and over). My child was bored and didn't want to come back. Some instructors worked well with the children while some were not as friendly. The instuctor at Kwongs was very friendly and the children seemed to be happier and liked the program more.
Great dojo with wonderful instructors. This dojo is committed to their students. The instructors not only teach martial arts but teach the students about being a well centered individual.
