I have been very familiar with this school of martial arts for all three of my boys. The instructors ranging from 1st Dan to 10th Dan Black Belts) are extremely patient with all age groups. They have stepped up things by including monthly "homework" that has the children thinking about many different things that it takes to be leaders in their communities. They have even taken my children aside to speak to them about issues I have trouble with in raising them (anger, not wanting to do tasks like homework). The staff will speak with the children in a gentle and caring way to get them to think about their actions. I find they are all wonderful mentors. This school has helped my children become more confident, agile and proud. The school works with children together as a group and also gives individual attention in a patient way without pushing. If it were not close to my home I would definitely travel there so that my children could be a part of this positive environment.
