Reviews of Shinn's Taekwondo Academy

As a parent of a student who has attended Shinn's TKD Academy for the past 14 years I have been more than satisfied with the training and guidance provided by Master Shinn and his excellent staff of instructors. The classes are well organized and begin and end on schedule. The training itself provides excellent means of exercise as well as a practical way for kids to develop the concept of self discipline.

I've always been impressed with the positive atmosphere of the school. The instructors are patient and help the students understand the lessons rather than just give orders and correct mistakes. I think this is one of the reasons I haven't seen many kids, or adults, leave to go to another school but, I have seen quite a few that have left other schools to study at this one.

Anyway, it's a great school with great instructors and I recommend that you consider it for yourself or a family member interested in studying tae kwon do.

The school is really good for young people, but also for adults, and seniors. The

master of the school is especially good at working with preschool age youth. The

classes provide a dynamic and enjoyable approach to developing physical health,

while learning real world approaches to self-defense. Young people learn concentration,

discipline, and a "never give up" spirit. They also learn how to connect their training with the rest

of their life outside the school.

Students develop a solid core of skills in taekwondo, enriched by cross-training drawn

from boxing, judo, wrestling, and jujitsu. The teaching is challenging, rewarding, but

delivered by all the teachers with the patientience and understanding that is one of the

strongest aspects of the overall stimulating large family environment.
