Shinkageryu Hyoho Marobashikai Tora Kyojo
Shinkageryu Hyoho is a Japanese swordsmanship founded in the 16th century by Kamiizumi Isenokami Nobutsuna.
Practice is “Kata” or form-based to learn the sequence and develop awareness of circumstance and your state of body and mind.
Tora Kyojo (2 locations) is operated under the direction of Shinkageryu Hyoho grand masters Watanabe Tadashige (22nd) Sensei and Watanabe Tadahisa (23rd) Sensei.

Practice is “Kata” or form-based to learn the sequence and develop awareness of circumstance and your state of body and mind. A student and instructor practice usually one-on-one. Practice weapon is a Fukuro-shinai (split bamboo covered by a fit leather bag) or Bokken. For a trial student, the instructor will lend one.
