Shindai Aikido Dojo is the oldest and most recognized Aikido school in Orlando.
Shindai is an affiliate of the Aikidio Schools of Ueshiba (ASU), M. Saotome Shihan. It has been in continuous operation for over a quarter century, founded by the late Dennis Hooker Sensei (7th Dan) ASU Shihan. The dojo is currently under the direction of Chief Instructor S. Fasen Sensei (5thDan) and Senior Instructor B. Canin Sensei (5thDan). As a traditional Budokan, Shindai provides space and support for a number of other traditional Japanese martial arts including; Karate, Judo, Kendo, Toyama Batto Do Iaijutsu and Iaido.
Shindai dojo provides Aikido and Budo training to anyone interested in the art over the age of 14.
