Sifu Deb offers a nicely balanced mix of traditional TaiChi and modern thinking.
The class is structured for maintaining (or regaining) balance, strength, and flexibility, but she also offers suggestions on how each move can be used defensively and in everyday life.
If you have always wanted to try TaiChi but were too nervous to try another dojo, give Deb at Shotokan a try. She is unfailingly patient and supportive; offers many times and days to fit work schedules, and the classes are a good mix of experienced students and newcomers.

Instructor Debbie is very patient with all who join. She has advanced students which is a plus. She takes time to answer questions, instruct and go through the art of Tai Chi.

Nice and welcoming environment. The students were very encouraging, jovial and willing to assist. The instructor is very informative, willing to apply the moves traditionally and show how they work defensively. Very inviting for new students of all ages.
Beginners are welcomed.

I see here on Dojo locator they just moved into the same building on Texoma Martial Arts, who already has tai chi in it's curriculum. I cannot imagine what Texoma thinks about it... Is that ethical? It does not seem very nice.
I am in my 6th year with this instructor and Deb is great. I am 74 years old and Tai Chi has so many health benefits, especially for seniors - balance, blood pressure, flexibility, core strength, and many more. For me it's the closest I've come to meditation because it takes focus and allows the mind to rest. I plan to continue as long as I am alive!
