An overall great school to learn. The instructors and his assistants are exceptional with kids. They show interest in what the kids want to learn, but also make sure they stick to the planned lesson. Affordable rates and good schedule.

Either individually or with your whole family, this martial arts club is a great place to learn. I am the mother of one of the students, age 13, and I would not take my daughter to any other location. The instructor has a very diverse martial arts background. He has former military, law-enforcement, and correctional officer training. It’s very impressive to see him blend all those aspects into the classes that my child attends. The instructor, and his assistant instructors, have a very productive and efficient way of communicating with the kids in the children’s classes as well as adults who take it. I highly recommend this to anyone in the region of eastern Kentucky, if you’re looking for a great learning experience, enroll in Shaolin Martial Arts.

As a student I have attended this school for many years. The teacher is ever evolving in his instruction techniques. he not only teaches techniques from the Martial Art of Shaolin Kung Fu but also adds in his own special flare from his days as a cop, Soldier and his correctional background. He has been an instructor in so many different areas he can integrate the skills seamlessly with his old school training. Awesome place to train, and a great place for family fun and bonding. Love it.

This school is Great. Someone wrote a bad review that obviously either didn't know the instructor or was someone holding a personal grudge with the school. Please go and find out for yourself how good the instructor is. He works amazingly well with adults and is great with kids. He is understanding of personal difficulties but dedicated to the students progress. The skills taught are very impressive, but accessible to all ages and starting skill levels. Like I said, go see for yourself.

The master is as small in stature as he's intellect he constantly has long and green toenails and he picks his boogers and you don't want to know the rest. Keep away from this dumpster

Loved the atmosphere. A family environment, that focuses on training. Master Tommy Hitchcock, is a true exponent of these arts. He breaks everything down how each form and application should be. He is great with kids and seems to understand each child's individual need. Great place to train.
