I have been going to Shaolin arts for about 8 years now. This school of martial arts has helped me develop emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. I showed up 8 years ago in fight or flight, with trauma, no self worth and no true self defense skills (practiced other arts as a kid/young adult). Fast forward, I have self worth, self confidence, self defense skills, and overall I am a happier and healthier person. The people, the energy, and the integrity of the system is priceless. I would highly recommend Shaolin Arts if you’re looking to build a strong foundation in the arts and learn true self defense techniques. If you put in true effort, practice, and remain open and persistent, the more you’ll tap into the energy and healing of the arts. I feel like I’ve only just begun.

I actually had a very bad experience with one instructor, but Master Gracey is phenomenal.

I saw a review online and wanted to respond to it. I'm still looking for it. The reviewer was offended because he was asked to leave. The review stunned me because I remember the incident and I was the one being instructed at the time. Master Gracey had me on the floor teaching me to throw off an attacker. A man came in and saw what was going on and said, "I want to learn to do that. " The implication was that he might like to be on top of me. I am grateful for Master Gracey's screening of students.

The instruction is professional and well organized. The progress of students monitored well.
