Seattle White Tiger Kung Fu
Welcome!! We here at Seattle White Tiger Kung-Fu believe that training Martial Arts is a fun way to stay fit, be active, meet new people, and learn effective self defense. We are dedicated to teaching practical, self-defense oriented Kung-Fu. Moh (Moo) Pai Kung-Fu is an effective art in which practitioners learn to strengthen their bodies through traditional breathing, two person partner, and forms techniques.
From ages 5 and up we have classes and open mat time that can fit into any busy schedule. The system we teach is highly versatile and can be applied by individuals with almost any build and athletic ability. Of course, training in martial arts is about more than just self-defense. It is also a great way to keep fit while having fun! So much so, that for many of our members, Kung-Fu has become a way of life, and our training space - a second home!

Programs & Class Schedule
Training programs with Seattle White Tiger Kung-Fu are fundamentally different for youth and adults. We believe that structure in a group class environment is an effective way to teach youth students about martial arts as well as create positive competition. Alternatively adult students (capable of understanding the finer concepts of the art) learn best with a mix of both private instruction and group lessons which is why we provide a fully integrated private lesson program. For our adult students we structure learning pace around the individual as all new techniques are learned one on one with an instructor.
Tiny Tigers
(5 - 7 years) Tues & Thurs 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Tiny Tigers is the initial class for starting your child down a martial arts path. At this age we focus on coordination, focus, self-discipline, and structure in a fun environment. This class is the best way to ensure your child is ahead of the curve when entering into the Youth Basic Program.
Youth Basic Program
(7-16 years) Mon/Wed 4:30 pm-5:15 pm & Tue/Thurs 5:30 pm-6:15 pm
Age 7 is a solid age to begin training in martial arts as most children this age show solid ability to keep interest in the rigors of training. The Basic Class takes students 9 months to focus on the foundation of the art before being accepted into the Advanced portion of class. The skills learned in this class will give them the necessary confidence to succeed in the art. It is also a part of the class that never goes away as our Advanced students train with our basic students in order to continue honing their skills as well as provide the best examples to the new students just starting out in the art.
Youth Advanced Program
(7-16 years) Mon/Wed 4:30 pm-6:00 pm & Tue/Thurs 5:30 pm-7:00 pm
Our Youth Advanced Program will take your child through to their youth Black Belt. This adds 45 additional minutes to their class length giving them consistent training on not only the basic techniques but also the necessary time training more advanced motions. Students in this class also work their way into our Masters Class program in which they receive additional class time (Fri 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm) to continue their focus on forms, weapons, and training in Sanda (free fighting).
Adult Moh Pai Programs
(16 years & up) Tue/Thurs 7:00 pm-8:00 pm, Fri 7:30 pm-9:00 pm
Training in our adult programs comes with the expectations of a serious student. We schedule private lessons during open mat hours and have the expectations that students attempt to practice or come in for group classes twice a week. You will receive private lessons for all of your techniques prior to belt promotions and the instructor(s) will review every technique you learn prior to the tests. There are no hidden testing fees in our hall as each rank is earned by the student and not purchased by their tuition. If there is not a class scheduled then the hall is yours to use and train in. The training hall is for everyone to use as time allows.
San Shou (Sanda) - Free Hit Fighting
(16 years & up) Sat 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Also commonly referred to as Chinese MMA or Chinese Military Art the concept of San Shou is to apply your martial arts training in a fast paced full contact environment. That does not mean that it is ALL SPAR ALL THE TIME. Quite the contrary. This class is full of fun and challenging striking, grappling, conditioning, and strength drills. We work hard in this class so we only ask that those who come in do their very best! This class allows you to competitively apply your training in all aspects. From striking on your feet to grappling and performing submissions on the ground you will practice the full arsenal of Kung-Fu techniques we have to offer. This class is open to all students however students of our Moh Pai class are asked to wait until they are fundamentally ready as the training in San Shou can impede their traditional Kung-Fu training.
We strive to provide complete and versatile martial arts training for most any age. Most of our students are committed to training and enter into a year long agreement with auto renew options. However, speak to a representative if you are interested in a Month to Month program.
