It all started with Japanese JuJutsu. The difference between JiuJitsu and JuJutsu is "Jiu" means training or competition, while "Ju" means warfare or fighting. After training in the US Army and spending over two decades in Special Operations, and after earning a black belt in Judo and a purple belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu, I wanted to know the "mother art", the art from which all of this came. I studied Japanese JuJutsu and earned my Black belt in this art as well.
My first visit to Saratoga JuJutsu was great. I was met with respect and hospitality, and I trained with a professional and knowledgeable teacher, JP Sensei. As I had been off the mat for some time, JP Sensei immediately made a difference in my posture, my form, and my efficiency. He is technically proficient and a pleasure to train with. If you want to learn how to compete, hit up a Brazilian JiuJitsu dojo. If you want to learn how to fight and defend you or your loved ones, check out Saratoga JuJutsu dojo.
