Pedro "Samurai" Minc, was Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Began 10 years practicing judo,At 17 he discovered Jiu-jitsu, and began training in the Nova Union Head Quarter team, with the legend of Jiu-jitsu master Andre Pederneiras. Soon he excelled as an athlete and competed around the country. At 18 he entered a university, where he graduated and completed his MBA in business, renamed the Fundacao Getulio Vargas.
Pedro has developed a beautiful non-profit organization project for social inclusion teaching the art of Jiu Jitsu for more than 180 poor kids in need. Pedro also worked on another project focused in sustainability in public schools, designed especially for kids from poor communities teaching children on how to better our environment.
He has been competing in the most prestigious and well-known Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournaments around the world. Some of his most recent titles includes:
