Located in Goose Creek at the NAVAL WEAPONS STATION, we are the largest judo and traditional jujitsu club in the USJA.
FREE TO ALL active duty and retired military personnel and their adult dependents, and to DoD personnel. Beginners to black belts welcome. Black-belt instructors. United States Judo Association membership ($35/year/active duty, $50 for all others) and uniform ($45) required.

Programs & Class Schedule
We truly are a non-profit club and do not charge for instruction. There are no contracts students have to sign. Our Samurai Judo Association instructors receive neither remuneration nor benefits. We teach the Olympic sport of judo and traditional (self-defense, street survival) jujitsu.
Monday and Wednesday and Friday -- 7 - 83:0 p.m.
Saturday from 9 a.m. – noon
Eligibility: Participants must be military personnel or their adult family members, or Department of Defense-connected. Instruction is FREE.
Membership in the United States Judo Association is required to participate. Annual membership costs $35 for active duty folks, $50 for all others; uniform costs $45.
All ranks are registered through the national organization, the USJA, and recognized everywhere. We do not issue or condone dojo (club) promotions, which are worthless outside the issuing club.
Our instructors are black belts with certified ranks and background checks. Most are graduates of the Coach Education Course.
Primary instructor: Dr. Ronald Allan Charles, 8th dan judo/6th dan jujitsu, US Judo Association.
