Salem Budokai offers classes primarily based around Danzan Ryu Jujitsu but also include Aikido, Judo, and grappling. It is a non-profit club with black belt level instructors who volunteer their time. The instructors have years (decades) of experience. Classes start with warm-ups (jumping jacks, etc.) which includes the practice of rolls and falls. The leaders then typically split up the class by belt levels, demonstrate an art, and then have the students practice the art. The teachers and students are friendly and welcome new members.
