I have been training with Master Son at his dojang and he had good things to say about this seminar and the Instructors there. Master Son does not give out praise when it is not earned up to his standards, which are quite high. His blessing on what is going on at EKU tells me that he approves on the quality of the training and that the art is represented well. I would encourage all that can to take the class.

I just finished a seminar at EKU that Grandmaster Son had conducted. The seminar was hosted by Tim Roberts and GM Tony Ramey. It was great and I learned so much in just a weekend. The passion that these three martial artists have for Hapkido and the addition of their experiences with multiple other disciplines and MMA is shown through not only their own skills and teaching abilities, but that of their students as well.

I would recommend this to anyone. :) I want to think all three of these guys for sharing this with EKU. It makes me happy to see this kind of thing offered to KY and students at the University.

I have trained in the martial arts for many years. I know Grandmaster Tony Ramey very well and he is a true gentleman and a great teacher. I was saddened to know that he had to close the school because of personal reasons. His wife of 30 years is ill and he cares for her so that she can remain at home, not many men would give up their life in this fashion. Fortunately, I will get together with GM Ramey for private lessons on occasion, and I know he enjoys the company. I would recommend the EKU class if you are able to attend it, the instructor is also a gifted teacher and his credentials are well respected.
