Saint-Cyr’s Dojo is not only a place to learn and study the Art of Self-Defense, it is also a class of positive encouragement that provides disciplinary growth. This positive environment has helped my granddaughter develop mentally and physically. In less than 6 weeks my granddaughter has shown positive progress with her maturity, temperament and overall character. As a grandfather, this family like atmosphere gives me the sense of community unity that promotes the proverb “It takes an entire village to raise a child” I highly recommend this program.

I love training at this Dojo. Through Martial Arts, Sensei has been teaching me how to balance my mind, body and spirit. Sensei is well rounded so there is never a focus on just one aspect of Martial Arts. Its not about kicking, chopping blocks and learning to beat people up. It’s about the balance between mind, body and spirit through discipline. I am learning the history of Martial Arts and some of the language too! Everyone gets what they need from the least experienced to the most. Sensei trains everyone at their own pace while keeping up a momentum. He is always encouraging and supportive of us unlike some places that break you to rebuild you. Sensei works on our existing strengths and builds us up from there. There is never any pressure. My whole family goes and we have lots of fun with the other members and their families as well. Come visit us and try a class or two and your always more than welcome to stay!
