I like the martial arts classes here. All the students and instructors are really nice. The training and workouts are great. I'm very glad I chose to study at Safeharbor.
Asked to leave 3 years ago, after many years of loyalty and service, very depressed now

I earned my black belt, and though I was promised a ceremony, did not receive one, and was asked to leave after some over zealous parents said derogatory and untrue things about me, based on my appearance. This happened 3 years ago, and it still hurts. I had done nothing wrong, and was never given a chance to speak on my behalf. I had to bring in a lawyer, someone Victoria (owner)could not ignore, in order to receive any kind of reason. I wanted to set things right, and would have accepted any apologies and given my apologies as appropriate. My social confidence has never returned, and am feeling betrayed and depressed. I really wish I had never met this school. I never want to hurt anyone by writing this review, but for the good of honest people, I would advise against this school. I went from being "a pleasure to have in class" to whatever it is Victoria thought of me at the 1st sign of peer pressure. So hard it is, to know where you stand with Victoria. After my years of attendance, helping to teach, and facing and passing my Black Belt test, I do present myself as a Black Belt, even without her support.

The gym just seems too small, instructors seem to be timid at times. I decided on a different school after a month

I chose not to attend here, not impresed with presentation. If that is the best they can do with an audience, i would hate to see them on a regular day
