Sabumnim Martial Arts Academy was founded in the spring of 2013 to fulfill the goal and dream of Master Rick Brown to found his own Martial Arts Academy. Master Brown has been active in the Martial Arts since 1991 and is ranked in both Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do.

It was founded as a place to when families could learn martial arts in a low pressure, positive, environment. Doing the right thing and working hard to get a little better at what you do every day are more important than the color of your belt at Sabumnim Martial Arts Academy.
