This man is not a true Martial artist. he claims to be teaching an art that he has no rank in! It was revoked for extreme disrespect!!! I highly suggest that you go nowhere near this individual. He is not a true Martial Arts Business!
Hi, I am the wife of Master Virgil. We have had Golden Tiger Karate since 2002 and teach American Tae Kwon Do Mixed Martial Arts. We are family oriented with Christian values. Sir has been inducted in 3 Hall of Fames and been promoted to 4th Dan by Grandmaster Robert Nenow 10th Dan and recently promoted to 5th Dan by the Fellowship of Black Belt Masters in 2014 (due to the death of Grandmaster Nenow). My husband got quality training from Grandmaster Alan Kates, 10th Dan, and was advanced to 2nd Dan. He continued his training under another 10th Dan, Grandmaster Nenow. He is well respected by the martial arts community. Our students participate in tournaments and do well. We regret that Brian Kates is harboring these feelings and he is only hurting himself. We will continue to pray for him and wish him and his father and his school the best.
